    Thank you for preaching truth that remarriage is not scriptural unless the first spouse has died.

    Many pastirs will say that if you divorce and remarry for whatever reason to stay in second adulterous remarriage. Just ask for forgiveness. That souns like a pastor made exception. I call it the voddie bauchman clause

      Great biblical message.. the other guy said he has friends, street preachers etc that are remarried.. lol he himself exposed the problem within the church. This message is as unpopular today like it was with John the Baptist and herrod.. this guy quotes people etc but no scripture.. no adulterer shall inherit the kingdom.. keep on brother..

    To the individual commenting in the video:
    7:15 “bondage” - douloo (slavery, servant hood)
    7:39 “bound” - deo (fastened, as with chains)
    Two different Greek words, two different meanings.
    It does not matter what pastors, preachers, missionaries, elders, etc., say regarding remarriage. If it does not align with scripture, then their interpretation is wrong. Many are called and few are chosen, so being in the minority on the topic should not be a deterrent to follow marriage permanence.

    I completely agree!
    Remarriage is not scriptural for any reason except AFTER the DEATH of one’s spouse (1 Corinthians 7:39; Romans 7:2-3).
    Remarriage is called adultery in the following passages.
    Luke 16:18
    Mark 10:11-12
    Romans 7:3

    Just call it what it is; if the pastor/preachers teaches that one can remarry, whether unbeliever or not, they’re a false teacher. Which is also in the Bible ☺️

  • @TruthSpeaker3

    Within 30 seconds of this video, it has nothing to do with believer or unbeliever, simply look at John the Baptist’s admonishment to Herod… he called him an adulterer for marrying his brothers wife.
    Also, “not bound” does not mean we are free to go remarry… within 1 Cor 7, Paul says “either stay separate or reconcile” that is it. We are free from the burden of our spouses choices any longer. To those who have ears, let them hear. This is a tough topic and the truth is a narrow road. Maranatha

    I'm sick and tired of this issue; the Bible is clear; you're not to leave your covenants at all; and there is NO such thing as remarriage. If you're in remarriage after abandoning your real marriage; then you need to repent by coming out of it and remaining alone. A third grader can understand this. These types of people are to be removed from the fellowships.

    how many use the wrong terms....as the text says under bondage, and that is not akin to not bound....

  • @anchorintheveil

    You actually think someone with the Holy Spirit can be involved in adultery and not know about it!!?? You can't be serious. The only reason you'd think that's possible is if you yourself do not have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in you. There's no other possibility. God does not permit you to be involved in such heinous sin and you not be aware of it! Complete nonsense! You're not born again that's why you think that! Repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ that you might be saved!

    • @holinessofthebride1935
      @holinessofthebride1935  Před 4 lety +3

      Where did I say the Holy Spirit could be involved in adultery and not know it? I did not say that. I’d really suggest you take the time to learn and understand about this subject. I do not only recommend my own material, but would point you to others who explain the Scriptures on marriage better than I do, including Stephen Wilcox, Joseph Webb, and David Pawson. I also recommend those from the historical view, who come to similar conclusions with slightly different methods, such as David J. Engelsma or Followers of the Way.
      As far as those professed Christians who live in remarriage, I believe that over time the Holy Spirit will lead them to repent of this and depart from their sin. For those who end up dying in that sin, I do not have confidence they know Christ, and I would pray for their souls. What would you think of a professed Christians who lived in a same-sex relationship? What about one who lived in a remarriage which did not occur for the reasons you think are valid, and is an act of adultery?
      There are limited options to explain this theologically, but if a professed Christian is living in sin, and refuses calls to repentance, I cannot trust they are a Christian in the first place. Jesus apparently has an answer to that quandary. He says - depart from me, I never knew you. (Matthew 7:23)

      Holiness of the Bride In the scripted conversation the “caller“ says these people are men and women of God alluding to the fact that they are true Christians and now you just confirmed what I said anyway.
      You think somebody born of the Holy Spirit can be living in adultery and not know about it. It would be the same as, like you mentioned, a same-sex couple living together. It wouldn’t take any amount of time for them to know that they are living in heinous sin if indeed they have been born again and have the Spirit of God in them. When you’re born again any thought of sin is immediately and absolutely detestable and any sin such as adultery would be plain as day. There’s no delay in the knowledge of heinous before God as you now have a new nature and share in His nature. The only thing that is delayed is discernment of sound doctrine and the process of sanctification which is the putting the death of those sins but you know full well what they are and that’s a lifelong process and struggle against the flesh. The fact that you even think it’s a possibility that someone could be born again, living in open adultery and not know it is a great evidence that it’s never actually happened to you or you’d know it’s not.
      Also, I have studied this at length for nearly a year straight and have heard from your false teachers. Pawson is a heretic who believes we earn our salvation by our own merit. This is a false gospel and an anti-Christ gospel. Is the reason that Hebrews 6 was written. He trampled under foot the precious blood of the Son of God and counts it as a common thing. so no I will not listen to any more heretics on the matter because none are needed. The words of Jesus are crystal clear.
      Please watch my video that I made on this as I did yours which answers most of your objections.

    • @holinessofthebride1935
      @holinessofthebride1935  Před 4 lety +3

      No, I did not confirm what you said. Read again carefully. I said over time I trust the Holy Spirit would reveal the truth to them. Do you think a Christian never ever sins in their life? Obviously one with the Holy Spirit can commit sin, but the Holy Spirit will lead us to recognize that sin and lead us out of it. So you are having a conversation with yourself here.
      When you are born again any thought of sin is immediately detestable? Is that really what you believe? Yikes. Then no one on the planet has EVER been born again. Christians can be tempted by sin. They sometimes find sin attractive. They sometimes give in to temptation. However, if they are born again, they will have the power to recognize it, and will leave it behind. Where do you find in the Bible that the Christian immediately on placing trust in Jesus finds every sin disgusting to their soul? What Scripture is that?
      If you studied for a year and are still in rebellion against Jesus’ teaching, and the New Covenant doctrine of marriage, I really suggest you get back on your knees and ask God for guidance. Scripture is not ambiguous on this subject, and speaks on it many times in explicit language. What God has joined together, man may not separate. If he does depart from his spouse, he may not remarry, but must remain single or reconcile. The Bible teaches everything that YOU claim is false. You are in conflict with the one you profess to be Lord. You must repent, Anchor.
      We do not need another generation raised up by hypocrites who live in sin, and then complain about the sodomites or the transsexuals. Children can see that hypocrisy, and if their parents can live in what God calls sin, then why can’t they live in what God calls in also? If marriage can be a temporary union, why can’t it also be a union between a man and a man? The Church needs to end its wicked lifestyle and respect the covenant of marriage. We have no business complaining about the depraved secular culture until we actually do. We cannot claim that we care about the children until we do.
      Are you remarried Anchor?
