Music Dancing Hammers??! it all part of fun! Saint John the Baptist Festival Braga

Yes, the parade starts at 10pm! Yes, there are plastic hammers used throughout the event! No one is off limits. This was so much fun to watch, we truly enjoyed this authentic traditional festival that has been going on since the 12 century, although the hammers are a newer addition. The festival last until 6am the next morning on Saint John the Baptist feast day. But don't think all the fun is over, as the festivities start again on the 24th with fireworks at 11:30 pm to end the amazing event,
