I was talking about how I bought my first home at 25/26 and I wanted to teach my daughter to own her own as a means of wealth building. When my mom and dad were together it was always discussed that my siblings and I would get a portion of his insurance payout. My mom went first and dad remarried. My step mother, though we were never close, took very good care of my dad and was there for him until the end.
