The CTS-V when it first came out in the early 2000’s was the coolest mob villain car ever. You think of Cadillacs as being quiet, supple, and comfortable. Then you see this bad girl and you’re immediately intrigued

Yup and those first generation CTS V's would have been even bigger monsters at bone stock if they didn't wheel hop and their rear ends didn't explode like grenades. GM made a huge flaw by putting the rear diff's from the V6 models into the V's at the time. Too much power, too much torque for them to handle.
I’m 58 years, old. I grew up with 442’s, Buick GSs & IROCs. I would absolutely love a CTS-V, in my “old” age

I think today's muscle cars are the Golden Years of making power! My 2013 ZL1 Camaro is at 958 whp and 846 torque with stock bottom end. Nice looking CTSV. ✌

@@jkrych26 I replaced my stock blower with the Magnuson 2650, NW 103 throttle body, ported heads BTR stage 3 cam, 9.55 lower pulley, 1150 DX injectors for E85, Monster S triple disc rated at 1150, 2" headers w/3" cat back, Corsa exhaust, heat exchanger, BMR tank, 5" Roto Fab big mouth air cleaner, MM catch can and all of the supporting mods to support the mods. Red lines at 7,000rpm. I will be replacing my upper pulley from a 90mm to a 75mm and set the redline at 7,200 rpms. The ZL should crack a 1,000rwhp? ✌️

I have been a CTS-V fan since day one. A few (well maybe more) years ago I was a the San Diego Auto Show and got there early when it was slow. The guy at Cadillac asked me if I wanted to drive one and I said Oh Hell yeah!!!! When he asked me "which one?" I asked if he had a manual wagon and bwahahahahah, he did. It was so amazing. I have become a Tesla Guy since, but I would buy a "V" up in a minute if given the chance. Thanks for the episode......
The V’s are badass. We shot 2 wagons a while back…one manual and one auto. Both built and both are insanely cool

As an Aussie, I have *a lot* of love for the V3! A damn shame they never came here. Sure, we had the HSVs with LSA engines, but the V3 is leaps and bounds ahead, imo.

Ill never get over the "O" face and grabbing for the "oh shit" handles. I love doing that to people, ride in the back and your stomach turns like a roller coaster.

Upper pulley. Roto fab. Kooks 1 7/8” LT no cats. Flex sensor/E85. ALKY dual nozzle meth. Trans tune. 680whp/720ftlbs.
Things a beast. Genuinely will spin at 70. Can only imagine another 150whp. Awesome color too.

Almost bought a ctsv. Went with a jag XF-R(similar v8/roots style SC set up), and did similar mods. Still have it 10 yrs later i havent found a car as fast. This V is bad ass

I have a 2015 ATS turbo coupe with a manual 6 speed. I hope the value goes up! Have not even put an intercooler in it, and it dominates the freeway. The potential with these cars is insane.

Ok.. this one is my all time favorite videos now! My setup is so close to his it's scary! I have a 2018 V3 with 760 whp. I have the same exhaust and meth injection. I upgraded to the Maggie 2650 Supercharger. My trans is tuned.. auto upshift is beastly! 😁 I ride toyo R888R..
I put highflow cats on my American Racing exhaust cuz those fumes were ridiculous!! 😳 Next mod will be a inner chiller to better cope with Vegas heat! Nice build Kevin!! 🫡 That oh shit face was priceless.. did the same to my brother-in-law last week!! 🤣🔥🔥💯💯

My dad worked on the original MagneRide control system! I remember being a kid and he brought home a GIANT sealed syringe full of compressible MR fluid and a magnet for me to play with and that was my first ever exposure to MR dampers lol.
Now that is cool! What an incredible feat of engineering

I've always been a fan of Cadillac, which began back in 2004 when GM brought a New designer in to reinvigorate the Brand!
The engineer they brought in was Wayne Cherry, and it was Wayne Cherry that introduced the Diamond faceted and bevelled body panels look...!
And when the 2004 Cadillac CTS-V was released in factory trim with the LS6 5.7L V8 mated to a Tremec 6-speed manuel transmission -- it was a force to be reckoned with!
Today I'm turbocharging a Cadillac that has never been done before and it's being built as a reliable, daily driven car!
So to see this episode showcasing a 2017 Cadillac CTS-V was surprisingly refreshing...✨!
As a long time fan of Cadillac and it's performance breed-line of car's! This by far was one of the most exciting and anticipated episodes to date...💪!
