Prayers go out to Mike & Fam. To me no surprise. Let's say I visited Yosh not long ago. Seem like they couldn't get me out the door soon enough. Now Brock is a rider, gives good customer service & cares bout the customer. So to me the better product was no surprise. Plus in the streets & track Brock reigns supreme

Not sure when you did the work on this bike. But couldn't help but think that I put Denver on your mind when it comes to ecu flash in this video. You just did my ecu flash a week ago and sent it back to me and got it back to me on Monday. 👍

My 07 Gsxr 600 has few things done to it. Including the Yoshimura RS55 full exhaust and it rips man no power held back there.

I have a 2022 zx14r as a daily and want to start a gsxr 1000 drag bike project. want to get the zx14 dyno tuned first. I am sure I need to make an appointment but I live in Kentucky is that something I can set up for a day and then drive down do it all while I am down there and take home same day. never had anything dyno tuned yet and don't know how long it takes.

I have an older FJR just curious what it made on the dyno?
My 07 went from 125hp to 129.8hp and 149.8mph top speed to 170mph top speed. We bought power commander 5's and they flashed those and dyno tuned them.

They've always advertised them at about 145 HP but I guess that's at the engine so 130 at the wheel is good.
But what was the humidity and temp the day of the yoshimura dyno compared to the brocks?

Bro the yoshimura r55 full system is probably the best for the r6 08+.... the way the mid pipe wraps and curves around is awesome and its frkng loud as! Almost a straight pipe sound too!

I run Michelin pilot power 2ct on my 2008 Suzuki gsxr-750 , have tires come a long way since this one was released ? Also I don’t track ride but go all out on a “closed course “ much like street condition what tire is too notch for this . I ride in newyork state from may - November all hours of the day as hard as I can what is the best tire for all out street performance ?

Never use Shinko Hookup on dyno, or other soft compound tyres, rubber heats up and loses shape when bike is tied down
he has dynoed numerous bikes with a shinko hookup on it on video on this channel. Normally they slip on the dyno not explode.
@@randyschmidt19 When running hi-power bikes on dyno and have grip issues , they need to be tied down pretty good, then the soft tyre makes a "bag" in front of the roller and tyre is having hard time not to break. It also hurts the hp numbers.

so what you’re saying is abs won’t work if the bike is stretched? i want to stretch my 21 gsxr 1000 0-4 but keep the abs system because i do daily it as well
It will still function and work, but you still wont have as much stopping power with the rear brake as stock. 4" stretch isn't bad though. That short everything will work fine like normal.
What intake filter is that running?

My 06 ZX-14 has a full Yoshimura exhaust on it when I bought it but it's just a single exhaust. Be straight with me, how bad is it holding me back? I kind of figured going from a dual exhaust from the factory to a single "performance" exhaust can't be helping much if any. I've been thinking about getting Brocks but I do really like the sound with the Yosh and it's not obnoxiously loud.
A 4 into 1 exhaust system will develop more peak power if I remember correctly than a 4 into 2 system.l have a full
4 into 1 yoshimura on my ZX14R all restrictions were removed and was tunes true the ECU no other mods 216bhp and as you point out the yoshimura isn't mad loud and quality is excellent I reckon there about 5bhp to be had more with a brocks is it worth it I don't think so plus it be way louder
@@K-carbon Interesting. That's the opposite effect than I would expect. I'll have to dig into it and see if it's true or not, no offense. But you know how much misinformation gets spread around on this cesspool of an app/site. I do love the sound and volume of my yosh, I only wish it was the carbon fiber one instead of chrome. I'm going for fully blacked out except for the lights because people have a hard enough time noticing bikes as it is so I don't want to dim the most noticable parts. But the exhaust is the only major part that is chrome. I replaced the factory chrome badges with some black ones and it looks excellent. 👌

What fuel was in the bike before the 112 ? Won't it cause a lean out if you don't adjust your tune from say 93 octane to 112 ? I raced outboard drag boats for a long time and my motors would definitely have to be richened for race fuel or would melt pistons with ease .
The fuel we run is MR12.... Not 112. MR12 is actually 92 octane. 112 octane fuel is to high for a stock engine, and it will lose power from pump gas.

i think you should include the fact that the rear brake delete plus the exhaust change combined account for the hp changes and not just the change in the exhaust pipe. you are removing rotating mass and brake drag. also, it would be nice since you had both exhausts off the bike to show them side by side to see the differences in their designs. keep the content coming and 🙏🏼 for mike.

Off course it does , unless you turn it off
@@fastchip Chris said he had to tune it rich in his locale so that it would run properly at sea level in LA.
That tells me the system is running open loop with no compensation for barometric pressure/altitude.
I mean, with a bit of rider training and eating right, those numbers don't mean anything once a better/lighter rider comes along

Hey man your channel rocks. I'm thinking about bringing my 06 zx14 down, I'm up in shelby. I had switched it to e85 back in 2010 but I switched it back to pump gas but my computer crashed and I lost all of my fuel maps. Anyhow I put a brocks alien head on it in favor of the his early exhaust and lighter than stock zx10 wheels on it. Anyhow it's been sitting for years ( I got sick with a brain disease that about killed me) so it needs some help. It was a good runner , a guy up near me let me run it on his dyno and let me do the tuning, I just took my existing brocks map and I added around 30 to 35 points over all the numbers on my pc3. It ended up with 191 hp on the e85 but my injectors where at 97% duty cycle. I can't remember the air/ fuel, it seems like it was around 10.5/1 . That guy passed away so I'm not able to take it back there.

@@darisgonzales2056 .....my bike was super strong on e85 with my original brocks exhaust, I didn't test it with the Alienhead or the zx10 wheels ( i know wheels dont add power but it will limit the loss of power through the drivetrain) so I have no idea what it will make once I get it tuned. I would've left the e85 tune in it but it was getting hard to find so I was kinda limited where I could ride pluse you burn almost twice as much fuel so you have to make sure it's within your range .
