Beautiful country…. You are one lucky man…… it is very hard for a young person from the Philippines to start a new life in the USA. I am glad you guided her.. I was 22 years old when I came to America and met my long time partner in 1977 in Chicago then moved to Palm Springs, California in 1998… your relationship with Marissa reminds me of our relationship with an age gap of 22 years but worked out nicely.. … passed away last year at the age of 90 years old.. keep on living in paradise … I love this vlog because you let out your feelings of Marissa and his family…. All I can say is you are one lucky man…
Good you are now a vlogger aside.from your wife. We are just neighbor and we are proud of you and your hardworking wife. Regards to her from purok 15 poblacion, nabunturan davao de oro. Stay safe always with your happy and simple family God bless.

Dennis it's nice to see you're enjoying this time of your life, the beauty of life is enjoying the moments as they come. My desire is to someday be in the Philippines, I will be 75 in June, so just to put my feet on the ground in the Philippines someday will be treasured moment for me. I'm a walker too, I walk everyday to help my body stay healthy and to clear my head of the matrix mind that we all fall into in America. Best wishes, I glad you're doing well.
No offence to Marissa but Dennis I really really enjoyed hearing only talk and your thoughts. Maybe it's because we are both Americans I dont know but I enjoyed your walk and talk

My wife is a Filipino but im trying to get her in the usa ware i live in a small town
Don't worry about the negative comments Dennis. I have found that people who make them usually have never been to a Province and don't know how it is there. I am looking forward to leaving the US and retiring with my wife in the Philippines. We have our property 3 hours north of Manila and starting to build a house there near New Clark City. My 16 trips in the last 12 years has taught me a bunch about the good people in the Philippines. Keep walking my friend.
You can hear the noises being made by those early morning bird on your background. Nice ambiance you have there. You can really tell that you're in a province by those sounds around you. nice.
Nice walk & talk my American friend I enjoyed it salamat. Hey yes thos rice fields that are yellowish are getting close to being harvest time . I've never grown rice but I have farmed alot of different crops here in Alabama where I live . It's kinda like our soy beans & Grain crops & grass crops we harvest here mainly for our cattle feed come winter time to get them through til spring when our grass pastures will be ready to turn them out on. All the grain & grass crops will turn a different shade of color Come harvest time . Take care brother .
Good interesting people thank for you vlog, stay healthy and happy. As the song goes by England Dan , all that glitters is not gold. You have a golden life buddy
Dennis, I am very happy to see that as you get older, you get wiser. Not may people accomplish that. The wiser part, that is. Lol. We all have only a finite amount of years - we should live them as fully as possible.
Thanks for the walk Dennis you are a lucky man to have a wife like you have and I'm sure she feels the same about you the Philippines is a beautiful place I'll be waiting for your next walk tell then take care
Very enjoyable video Dennis. I watch most videos on this channel and find them quite entertaining. Marissa's family really does seem very nice and it's good to see her two sisters there a lot. I have to admit I'm one who never believed a huge age gap relationship could work but the two of you are proof that in some cases it will, as you seem to have a pretty great life.
Good morning from Central California, USA! Thank you Dennis. I really enjoyed sharing your walk with you. I especially liked it when you pointed out areas of interest as you walked. Please do so again as you are able.
If I could find a good filipina and start a life with my filipina, i would like a house like your nice simple house on 1 level. You and Marisa are very chill! I know many people in many different places in phillipines and i agree with you about your location.
Dennis you got a good wife i seen the video of the house when you got to the Philippines i like what your wife said to you when she take you to the house as you not know it was your house 😅
Hello from Chicago Illinois USA Richie Rich in the house. I wish you the best of health you and your family. Happy Friday morning to everyone in the Philippines
Great video Dennis. It’s nice that you share information and your outlook on life with us. I agree with you completely that looking at the glass half full is no way to live your life. Thanks for the walk.
I enjoy watching you channel, I use to watch other channels there in the PH but they are mostly full of drama and BS. I like watching channels of everyday people living their everyday lives with out all the drama. Marissa is a good woman, I can tell how much she cares for you. Marissa's family seems very nice and humble which is very rare these days. I'll be heading to the PH in a few more years myself.
Hi Dennis Im looking forward to see your story every day, im looking ind to moving to Philippines with in the next 5 years, we are in the Philippines 3 weeks a year, you inspire os, keep on going.
Dennis, nice relaxing video to watch I didn't know you guys were living in the Mindanao area.I have been there to the Dipologe area.Keep walking as you know will keep u in shape take care my friend.
That's a nice area to walk man, kinda like the area my gf lives in , in Leyte. Can't wait to get back over in a few months, waiting on her retirement from government there in 1 1/2 years. The states are going down the toilet unfortunately. Looking forward to my retirement there in ph
Dennis you indicated that the dogs can be annoying but otherwise a pleasant area to live in. But wait those fricken Roosters would drive me insane. I know cockfighting is huge in PH because I have attended several myself in Cebu Province. Nothing like a good Cockfight on a Sunday afternoon in Sogod. Take care my friend.
I enjoyed your walk, Dennis. Thank you. This is only the second time I’ve had the pleasure of watching one of your videos without Marissa, but you should do more. You have a very soothing way of talking.
She and her family are like having a pot of gold. My dream was to retire there, But I only make $1,176.00 per month. And only around $10,000 in cash I don't think that would fly. 4
New subscriber here, please do more walking videos to show us the beauty and simple life in the province. As much as I enjoy some expat’s travel vlogs and informational vlogs, I do enjoy this kind of content. So please keep it coming. It’s wonderful to hear you also and your perspective on things. God bless you and Marissa.
I married my wife in the Philippines. It took us 1 year to get her to the US. We are married 17 years in April. We were in the US for 10 years. Bought a fixer-up house when we returned. Very nice family who appreciate all we have done to help them. Very similar lives. I documented the visa application as I did it myself so we could help others. Turns out they change the process every 2 to 4 years (I think to keep people to knowing the whole process and doing it themselves). Income for lawyers, helpers and associates.
Are k 1 -k2 took right at 2 yr because of coved look like were moving philippines end of 24 my new wife not adjusting well she dont like high cost of living that big k 1 k2 turn out a waste of a lot of money. Best to both of you

What time did you start your walk?
6am or before.
Please be careful out there Dennis……someone could take that camera and run..
Do people squat on those abandoned properties and houses?
Not to my knowledge.
