  • In Acts 24, Paul's defending himself in front of an important guy in Caesarea. Then a moment of courtroom drama turns throw-up-a-little-bit-in-your-mouth worthy when lawyers start lawyering in the dirtiest fakest ways.

It's a long story as to how an atheist got here but to some it up, it starts with me taking a blood oath covenant and ends with me becoming addicted to NDQ and wanting to learn more about you. I really enjoy what you're doing and I can't wait to see more of it.
    Ex animo,

Well we got to the point in the end - God using Roman government to take Paul out of the Jewish turmoil with a view to getting him to Italy and spreading the gospel in Europe. It's fascinating to see how Paul, after ignoring the Holy Spirit's direction in ch21:4, had his focus adjusted by God's providential authority in government.

    Another great video!
Is there a chance that Luke was actually there at the trial chronicled in this chapter? He traveled a lot with Paul, especially in the later parts of Acts, as I understand it.
PS - Not your mom :)

Man, you starting to crank out videos. I like it. :) I'm a bit confused about your observation about two worlds. But maybe because I see government as a syestem. A syestem with rules. Both written and unwritten. The only thing you would need to traverse government is knowledge of the rules. Which it seems as if Paul does. Almost like he is uniquely qualified for the task that he is attempting.

2:49 Didn't Herod not try to hand over his throne to his oldest son but instead have him killed, and try to hand over his throne to his second-oldest son?
4:04 Well, didn't he get his postition in the first place by sucking up to the romans, so it shouldn't be too much of surprise if he does it here?
9:02 Did Luke really need to look up the trial when he could have just asked Paul, and quite possibly was actually there himself?

Please, make the verse numbers smaller or dimmer than the rest of the text in Bible citations. They are annoying.

There us no 'N' in Obserthougtification. Learn how to spell. Also thanx for de-mystifying the bible. Strike 2 Matt. :) (miss you bro, but keep up the great work)
