The white ones are the provincial flower of Ontario Canada. It is illegal to pick them because they die if you do.,and they don't transplant well either!

When the helicopter came over it reminded me of deer hunt when I was about 14 years old we were on top of a mountain in SW Virginia and out of no where came a fighter jet I swear I could have touched it. The crazy thing was we never heard it coming it scared us to death after we saw it then came the noise it was so loud but very cool. Great video as they always are.

In St Thomas, Ontario there is a life sized bronze replica of "Jumbo" the elephant, who was hit by a train. As the story goes he was protecting a smaller elephant called tiny Tim, and charged moving the steam locomotive. Jumbo was part of a traveling rail circus visiting in that day the small town of St Thomas. And as we know everything large is a Jumbo size.

Jumbo was or is maybe still the mascot of Tufts College. The tale of Tufts' official mascot, Jumbo the elephant, dates back to 1885. Circus showman P.T. Barnum was an early trustee and benefactor of Tufts and he donated the stuffed hide of Jumbo to the university. For 86 years, Jumbo stood in Barnum Hall and was a veritable mecca on campus. My grandfather graduated from Tufts in 1932 and had a great story about Jumbo and all the memorabilia. Once again Brad - Awesomeness from you and your adventures. PS - If you're ever interested in hearing the Jumbo story contact me privately. Cheers!!!
