Excellent plot good performances well worth the time to watch it, many thanks for posting it.
Terrific picture. Brian Donlevy, usually a heavy, is a sympathetic and convincing underdog hero in this. Helen Walker is again, as in Nightmare Alley, the most alluring femme fatale imaginable. Ella Raines as a complex girl next door is equally gorgeous and appealing.
I actually went to that alley and doorway where Anna was running. I have a few photos.
