No - watch most of them, when they're really pushed they're quieter. Muguruza is a great example. She plays better when she doesn't shriek and moan. It's a bad habit like any other, and it's unfair to other players as well as being painful to watch.

I have nothing against occasional, normal volume grunting. I can't stand the players like Sharapova who shriek late to disguise the volume or who overdo the volume. Watch Sabalenka in the semifinals - totally over the top. It diminishes the game. I feel the same way about the men who overdo it.
I hope Sabalenka can finally go deep at a GS at Wimbledon but she always gets the most difficult 1R matches at Slams... I mean: Barty in front of her home crowd at the AO then Bertens who is surely a Top 10 player on clay at the FO and now Buzarnescu who played a fantastic grass court season just as Sabalenka too. She is very near to get seeded at the US Open tho.
