How the heck did she get movie roles? She’s not even in the top 5 when she was there(cecily strong is 10x more funny and it’s not even close)

If we’re talking all time best female SNL cast members like Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey she doesn’t even come in the same realm. All those women are super stars.
I think her over acting, desperate need for attention and sub par impressions(they all sound the same with zero range or skills) are what put me off, I could care less about her sexuality obviously! She could stand still and fart and all her fans would say it’s the funniest thing they’ve ever witnessed.
Then again I grew up with strong female actors and musicians like Janet Jackson, Michelle phipher, Julia roberts, Sandra Bullock, Sharon Stone, Kate Winslet, Shania Twain, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Angela Bassett, Susan Sarandon, Jodi Foster and Meryl Streep. And now a days we have Kim Kardashian, Kendal and Kylie Jenner, Miranda Sings, Jennifer Lawrence(totally fake), Melissa McCarthy(makes loud noises like McKinnon, just an attention seeker), Amy Schumer and any degenerate CZcamsr. I will say there is definitely some good ones like Gal Gadot and Emma Stone and definitely more. But a lot of the newer stars are complete narcissist that will turn their fans into the same gross bs.

Ok wow the Deenie sketch really got me! "The one before the other one, got the piano music in the beginning" reminds me SO MUCH of my grandma! She was an avid The Young and the Restless watcher (the piano music in the beginning) but also watched The Bold and the Beautiful! That's how she would describe the shows!

I really hope she never changes, or that fame gets her to a point where she doesn't think that doing impressions are not fun anymore, or acting, She has such a natural gift, and her smile is literally contagious, and it is rare for her to break, but we get to see the real kate when she does. And she isn't one to give out a ton of detail about her self which I respect, but I wonder if she even knows how BIG she really is?, I would love to see her on SNL for another 10 years, if they can give her stuff that is worthy of her, because not totally in love with the movies she has done, she is so much better doing this. I just hope she never changes!!

The ‘Tenement Museum’ sketch with Louis CK was one of the first times I ever noticed her break. CK’s private life (as we know now) aside, this is a really funny sketch that to me is the closest she’s broken entirely. A genuinely funny sketch that lasts in memory because of it.

SNL is garbage. Only a few skits are funny. The show has lost it's way with all of the blatant political slants that demonstrate how totally inept they are in any form of education or logical thought....SNL hasn't been funny since the early 90s

She, in some ways, is a morale booster for this country under seige. SNL has long been vital to our national well being asking us to think while we laugh. These people work through scary times(troopers) to make it laughable for the rest. There are big demands placed on those with talent to distract and comfort.

WHO made who break more? The Kate- Aidy duo OR Harvey Korman-Tim Conway? If you're old enough to remember Harvey and Tim from the Carol Burnett Show, they were fantastic at making each other break character, especially Tim making Harvey break.

SNL removed the Dr We Know Dis when she gives the COVID vaccine to Colin. I hate that cos I watch it when I'm depressed which is literally every single day.
They broke in the apple picking skit because the donkey on set made a loud cry.
Yeah, it would be so much funnier if the voice over DIDN'T EXIST. LOL You get like a quarter of the skit and ten minutes of voice over.
