    I own a 1989 built one of these. It has no magazine trigger lock. You can remove the trigger lock on later models by removing the right hand grip plate and removing the flat bar that goes from the trigger mechanism to the bottom of the magazine housing. Easy Peezy fix.

      Thanks...Wish I had know that when I still had the Buckmark.

    Looking like a tactical Jehova witness with the bicycle helmet

      Perfect gray man.

    I flipped the spring to lighten the trigger for free. Then I also upgraded to Tandem Kross Victory flat trigger, mostly to fit my big hands. But also more consistent and has adjustable over-travel screw. It’s very good now. I’m considering the Tandem Kross Gearbox captive spring, but I don’t really need it.

    is that a bicycle helmet?

      It is. Two reasons. I often ride my mountain bike to filming locations. And I like how it and other non-tactical garb impugns my reputation in certain crowds.

    Get a 22 silencer. You will love it. Great assessment by the way.

      I need to do that. I do like shooting my Tikka T1x with sub-sonic cartridges.

    If you field strip the buckmark more than they say, you run the risk of losing the c-clamp on the recoil spring. Once you do that and lose that very tiny c-clamp, you have to purchase more c-clamps and it’s very hard to put the c-clamp back on because it’s so tiny. They don’t warn you about that. They just say not to take out the recoil spring.

    well sorted video, thanks. i want to like the browning buckmark but the complicated fieldstrip turned me off. i chose the ruger sr22. the browning is one of the few semiauto rimfire pistols okayed for sale in california, which probably pumps up its sales. in my experience the browning 22lr bpr ammo is junk.

      Same experience here with BRP 22LR ammo.

      I'll agree on the complicated field strip, it's certainly a PITA but once you get the hang of it it's super easy. Mine has the picatinny rail on top so I have to have an Allen wrench set to even get it open so that does suck, but I've found that this gun will run for hundreds to thousands of rounds without needing to be cleaned, it blows me away how long a Buckmark will run for so long as you use semi-decent ammo. I may be biased since it's the only .22 auto I have but I personally don't feel a need for another one with how much I like the Buckmark.

    That trigger looks strangely creepy for a buckmark. Noticed that at all?

    • @AmbGun
      @AmbGun  Před 2 lety +1

      No. Just heavy compared to my P17 and Ruger 22/45. If it looked creepy in my video, it was probably just tired fingers.

    Never dryfire your rimfires without a load, it damages your firing pin.

    You may need scope and more field time before you review
