- I remade all the lego wolfpack sets from the 90s in this video
I was originally inspired to make this video because of a post from the_bricked... on instagram who made a really cool mod of the forest hideout. And in turn spawned this video :)
A huge thanks and shoutout to @OldLegoGuy for having a massive catalogue of classic castle set footage on his channel. Please go check out his page, he's got a video for almost any castle set you could think of!
All music used in this video came from the game Pokemon Diamond & Pearl's soundtrack. - Zábava
One of our favorite thing to do is exactly this - remaking old sets with modern parts and techniques! You did an awesome job with all of these!!
WOW!! Absolutely incredible builds, well done my friend 👏 I love the Wolfpack faction!!
Thank you!!
@@Goldfyre Really curious how do you know it'll be available on pick a brick for sure?
Because it came from a non-licensed set and every other retail castle set has had it's figs come to PAB@@timothymachler5054
cool
Top line definitely!
Love them😆😁💯👍
Perfection👌
I really hope Lego remakes these sets because this is honestly one of my favorite factions within the castle theme
The Wolf Pack meshes really nicely with the Bull Knights from back in the day, especially if you replace the bull shields with wolf ones.
Why is some guy on the Internet doing this and not Lego themselves?
Because lego needs more fans to desighn for them.
The caravan wagon was my favorite both the original and your remake
3:25 This one second is awesome! A monk using Gandalf's new legs and a leftover old Gandalf's torso. I'll combine that with the bold hairpiece of the Shakespeare CMF with a content looking soldier head in the lion knight's castle.
I have the blue wagon from when I was little. Didn't know I had £20 worth of minifigures because of it! Good work.
That 90's nostalgia is a crazy force on the aftermarket haha
You can get the whole cart for £20. Individual figures are about a fiver. Not sure where the $20 a minifig is from.
@@andhe US prices for castle stuff is generally quite a bit more expensive then places like the UK and Germany. Wolfpack fig price w/ shield is straight from sold listings on eBay
@@Goldfyre ebay is usually the most expensive option. Gone are the days of regular eBay bargains. I used to pick up classic castle figs for £1-2 and got my wolfpack tower complete with box for £10 😂 (this was about 15 years ago now, good times).
I love the Wolfpack Knights
Star Wars poster in the background makes for interesting contrast.
I build a nice peasant figure, using the new barbarian woman's torso behind as its front, and a dark tan backpack against its front. I gave it dark tan arms, with dark brown hips and duel moulded legs with dark tan legs and reddish brown boots, together with a old style brown hood and a reddish-brown pitchfork.
"as everyone knows, the Wolfpack are canonically alcoolics", that sentence made me laugh so much xD
That carriage is absolutely awesome! So many great building techniques
Great job dude! I really like the remake of the forest man shelter. Very clever!❤
Thanks man 😁
Me too although you forgot the ghost but overall I think it was a good idea to use the forest hidout as the base.
@@pepefernandez4270 yeah that did bother me, but he probably dosnt have a ghost
These were all so awesome, and it's so cool how you elevated every single set but still kept them true to the original
I love the cart it is simplistic but not overly so. The hole thing looks great!
Those are all LIT, great Job. Could you imagine if we had the pieces today back when we were kids.
I'm so glad the new wolfpack figure looks true to the old faction minifigs
As someone who owned the original cart and Fortress as one of the first sets I ever owned, I love to see new content made on it over thirty years later
Thw wolfpack tower is gorgeous
This is some awesome stuff! In the fantasy world I'm building, there is a secretive far-reaching criminal organization called the Shroud.
When wolfpack torso enters PaB I'm giving Lego my life savings. XD
I did an order in January of the PAB Best Sellers and it was way too easy to spend the entire $200 I needed to get the Gift With Purchase.
The three MOCs look great, very well done! I really hope LEGO releases more Wolfpack in the future!
Can't wait to integrate them into your Fantasy World
love the first mod! the color swapping is so satisfying
Very cool! I actually built two MOC wagons recently (an ox-drawn 4-wheeler with hay in the back but with a hidden cache of smuggled gold coins) plus a donkey-drawn 2-wheeler cart (the mule is a brickbuilt MOC animal while the wagon holds some barrels/kegs of ale). I used some extra CMF goat herds as the drivers for each.
I built these wagons to populate the LKC, Medieval Town Square, and the upcoming Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons sets. Heck, I'm even working on a stonework bridge but longer. What a coincidence! Was a fun build! Yours look pretty sweet!
Overall that hideout and tower turned out really nice. Great work! Nice to see some smaller builds
This might be my favorite video of yours. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! I put a little bit more care into this one so I'm glad it came across :)
Very good looking remake of the wolfpack tower. And those little back stories were very creative.
Super fun and creative, love the way your enthusiastic storytelling breathes even more life into these mocs. You seem like a really nice guy!
Thank you!!! this is such a lovely comment :)
I really love these all but the horse draw cart is such an amazing build that really stands out ❤
This looks great! Keep up the good work!
Thank you !!! :)
Wolf pack builds let’s go
The last one was the best but they are all great I need to learn how to add that level of detail to my Mocs
I loved the updated Wagon! Gave me a lot of inspiration
the caravan is my favorite build that you did in this video
i love the wolf pack and u captured it so perfectly
''This is the bandit king'' * Cynthias theme starts playing*
I love how even the music is thought our perfectly :D awesome vid as always. my fave build is probably the tower in the river/lake:)
Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun trying to find the right songs for this one :)
It's nice to see some love for the (friendly) bad guys. For my taste, the caravan is a little too large and i really miss the hidden floor mechanic (which was the sole reason for the original one to be that bulky). For the castle, i would add a trap door at the main house's entrance which would toss anyone caught in it back down into the water (to be eaten by that crab 😁). The mechanism could be controlled from the back side of the castle.
I really love the idea of an altered GWP. I don't have the GWP, but... I have two original sets. Now i'm really thinking of converting the second one (that is missing a few parts anyways) for the Wulf Pack.
Yay, thx for that idea!
I really like the back story.😅 The castle must be my favourite moc. Awesome job man.
I absolutely LOVE your caravan
Great builds and great choice of music using the DPPt soundtrack!
Very fun video concept! Great job with the builds. 🔥🔥
Thanks man!! Your style of chiller build videos was an inspiration to me when making this one.
This is a great idea that is wonderfully executed. Thanks!
Love this! Thanks for sharing dude! Can’t wait to get my hands on some wolf pack parts!
Wolfpack are the best! Thank you for the ideas.
I love the carriage build, that gives me a lot of good ideas for my own. Please keep up the great videos 😁
Bro, is amazing!! I love Wolfpack faction, and your buildings and Lore are amazing, nice job 👍
Astounding build, kudos!!!
Sweet😀☀️🌞⚔️🐺🟫🍁
Love these videos, specially the back stories, keep them coming! I really like the vibe of the dark forest hideout, but I think the fortress needs a little more of that darkness to feel more wolfpacky
Definitely! I wanted to incorporate more darkbluish gray in the tower at first but ended up changing my mind
Lovin it! ❤ Pls do more such MOC videos on nostalgic castle theme sets. 👏
that was cool!
your videos have made me really excited for the whole castle theme again. i loved playing with the wolfpack fortress as a kid (and castle stuff in general) and i wish we would get more smaller and more affordable castle sets again.
for your remake of the fortress, i would have worked in some black as well. idk, i just think it's more fitting for the whole wolfpack aesthetics :D
Great mocs. Remaking classic castle sets in the "90th" style is a great idea. You just need to get some ghosts, they were the main gimmick of the wolfpack era!
I really do need some. another thing added to the BL wanted list lol
Lore for the Bandit Kingdom:
The Wolf Bandits might be seen as a nuisance to the Black Falcons. But actually, they are the descendants of the Wolf Clan of the Vikings. They’re building up a secret kingdom of their own to take down the Black Falcons.
Their king was born in a Horse lord’s family in the Bone Isles that descended the Wolf Clan in the North. He was sent to the main continent to escape the war. There he was found by two orcs in the Great Ghis. He eventually moved to the Falcon Kingdom to find work and became a notorious Crime lord, mostly seen as a nuisance.
And the wagon looks sick!!
This is probably my favorite video so far
For the cargo the carriage was carrying, I would recommend trying to find a way to add a Lego Treasure Chest piece, since it could be a reference to the original. And I kinda wished you had made more wolf pack characters, but I guess that'll wait until the wolf pack torso is on Pick A Brick.
Love your take on the caravan 🎉
wow, really good remakes, loved the vid
Excellent work! The Wolfback is my fave faction and you did them justice (so to speak!)
Great job, it was pleasure to watch!
Awesome video as always!
Awesome stuff, you could've maybe throw in a few darker colored briks in the fortress walls maybe
Been waiting on this video, finally you put it out. Love the videos❤️
Hey, good job I really like your videos! I really liked that first set you did with the black it just really matched that old style. Keep up the good work!
These were all great!
Fantastic builds, your knowledge of techniques and style has improved so much lately. Keep it up!
Thanks 😁
Really good video!! I'm back into castle theme and this made me dig up for my wolf pack minifigs and I have foubd 2! Love the lore you put into these videos! Keep it up!
Thanks man :)
Love the creativity
Great video! Good work
I’m going to start doing this with all the LEGO Pirate sets. Rebuilding with a more modern aesthetic.
Great video! I love the story telling in your videos, it's super creative! Well done
Thanks!! 😄
Love your stuff man ❤
Oh man!!! That was fantastic!!!
The caravan is epic 🔥
the builds look very good keep it up:)
Incredible builds and love the pokemon music
Thanks! Pokémon game soundtracks have some absolutely great songs.
Really cool video the best part is I have two of those old Wolfpack mini figures and they’re one of my favorite figures
Not the Wolfpack being God’s drunkest drivers 😭 5:14
That looks really great 👍. I wish I could make crazy sets like that but idk where to start
Fun stuff per usual. Also, I want to compliment your editing choices in regard to the inclusion of some music, and I’m always a fan of good video game music. Great work.
Thank you so much! I tried to use the music a little more intentionally in this one and i think it made the video a whole lot better.
Nice. I like what you did with the tree house. I was debating what to do with mine, since I also have the original one from back in the day.
It's a really fun/easy mod.
love this vibe!
These all turned out FANTASTIC!. my favourite build was definitely the carriage, although my favourite figure is the bandit king 🐺👑.
I think the tower turned out great and a love how the caravan drivers story fits into its creation!. 🏰
Really enjoyed all the little stories!, the way the King met the other two characters in this video leads me to think that it’s a “brotherhood” that takes in orphans and outcasts, or those not content with life, still criminals but closer to bothers then the soldiers of many of the other factions.
Fantastic job man!, have a fantastic day:)
This is awesome!
I did enjoy it Goldfyre, thank you!
Loving the vids
Wow, great ideas!!
Another great video
I would love an instruction for that tower base you made. It looks like a fun thing to build.
Always love your stuff man, and this is no exception! Would be great to see some Ghost stuff added to any future Wolfpack vids though (Like, why are there always those ghosts in 90s sets??), maybe the spirits of past faction leaders are influencing the Bandit King?
Thanks! I really need to grab some ghost figs lol
Amazing stuff!
Thanks! :)
Nice job. I feel like the wagon should have red, rather than blue, since blue doesn't appear anywhere else in any builds (this bothered me with the original, too). Additionally, I feel that the tower walls should match the height of the gate wall, for a more cohesive look.
I knew it would be recreating all the Wolf Pack sets
Your best video yet
Very cool, but you missed out on my favorite part of the set. The riving going under the tower and the secret dock underneath accessible from the hidden entrance
really cool video !
I feel like the castle would be more like an outpost you know But still great builds !
Great vid I think your remakes are better than the original sets.
The upcoming D&D set can be modded to a Wolfpack hideout!
