I’ve used shoe goo when I skateboarded. The kickflip wears out the toe area. It would help make your suede shoe last longer. I’ve never used it for the bottom outsole of the shoe. Your goo is shiny! I used translucent goo.

I've seen a few skateboarding videos about the Goo since posting this one. Great way to extend the life of multiple types of shoes

I'm also a heel-striker using Nike Invincibles and I've used Shoe Goo on my outsoles with great results. Also extended the life of two pairs of Vaporflys that were both starting to perish toward the rear. I highly recommend using a slightly-melted ice cube (no really) to carefully shape the Sho Goo into a nice and smooth patch, kind of massaging it into place with light, circular motions. Any excess water can be quickly wiped off after tilting the shoe slightly while being careful not touching the actual glue. It might sound odd but it actually works and you get the hang of the technique after a few runs. And then I always give it a few minutes under a hairdryer or heatgun to stabilize the glue and then leave it to dry for a day or two. Then it's just a matter of repeating the procedure once it's worn through again, but it lasts for longer than one might expect - just like you found in the video!

Interesting technique! I’ll have to try that! I’m going to add some Goo to my Alphaflys next

Typical Michigan weather this time of year 😅 Nice to see it helped for the most part! Reminde me of the stuff they fix cracks in the road with.

I’ve used shoe goo on my invincible 2s as well! Coincidentally a great video to come across! I actually had to use it to glue together some midsole cracks. Haven’t run in them yet after repair, but now keen to run in them tomorrow after watching this. And I’ve only done 300km in them, really expected them to last longer 😢 (yours still look decent after 300 miles!) . And so great to see this! They live on!

Awesome! I got 500 miles in an earlier pair of Invincibles, although I probably should have retired them after 400 or so.

I’m starting to guess it’s the storage of the shoes which I don’t see many people talk of that can deteriorate the midsole (ie. storing in my garage in the heat of Australian summer). Perhaps also the extra miles accumulated from casual wear/walking. Although the run still felt good after shoe goo repair, just semi-annoyed of the midsole deterioration/cracks appearing.

I first tried to reglue my jordan 34's for basketball and I failed miserably. Im going to clean the failed trial and follow how you place the tape to put it in place. I was kinda hoping this will revive my precious shoe and thanks for the informative video!

I have a suspicion that lateral movement more common in basketball might be a lot harder on the Shoe Goo than just running straight. But this is pretty strong stuff, so hopefully this works for you!

Great tip to use shoe goo. But the real value is your test to see if it works and if it lasts. That’s where the rubber meets the road! Thanks for the excellent video.

I've used Shoe Goo to fix like rips like you were showing. I've never used it to fix outsole wearing out. to me if I've worn through the outsole I'm getting new shoes, especially if the shoes are 2 years old. I would tend to think that this is more useful if we're in the zombie apocalypse 🙂... Yes, if we're running from zombies we're definitely using Shoe Goo 😀.

They definitely had Shoe Goo in The Walking Dead. And access to carwashes to keep their Toyota looking pristine

Just wanted to say, I ended up picking up the More v4 yesterday after watching your other videos and it's a blast to run it! I actually like it more than the Nimbus 25 and the 1080v13. Hope the More v5 continues that trend. That's set to drop sometime around August right?

Great to hear! One of my all-time favorite shoes. V5 is set for August.
