I just spoke to Rick / the RB mods owner / retired now he said but anyways the .12 rb and Picco engine has no pinch point and runs on a tapered cylinder.
So my engines are still in great shape he said after I explained the piston and cylinder wear.
Things are looking good 🤘😎🥳🥳

Good info, When I fitted a ke21 to my hyper SS, I needed to raise the engine 2mm to accommodate the pull start, but only because hobao use a H shaped mounting plate.

I have the same buggy and the original engine. Do I need to get those kyosho mounts to lower the engine to work with a bump box. Remember now I said I'm using the original engine with a backplate
