    1. Does it work like Vnc or rdp? When you are connected, one can see what you are doing on the desktop (vnc) or session is not visible (rdp)?
    2. Does the chrome need to be left open?
    3. Does it work on other chrome based browser eg Edge? or strictly chrome?
    Thanks for another useful material!

The main problem you have to be careful of if you are trying to acess you HOE PC from outside your home iusing VNC or RDP is you have to normally open ports on your router.
Chrome does NOT need to be left open.
I thinnk it only works on your /HOME PC using chrome - but maybe try it with edje - it will soon let u know IF it has any issues. - It may be fine

Hi, it doesn't require open ports in your router or firewall, because you avoid them completely! Instead you have direct access to a system in your local network! You don't need a special Client side software, but you need a special remote software: google chrome! I am not sure (of course I'm sure, it is not!) if this is such a secure/private idea with a solution from google...

The key word in the title is ANYWHARE. i remote control my PCs across my LAN, thats easy and safe, but across the WAN/Internet is more challenging, hence the video..

I use this app to tech support my mothers pc 140 miles away. she runs her version, creates a pin and tells me, I enter it at my end and them I'm looking at her desktop and can fix any issues. Flawless connection.

@@paulrosebush9137 I would highly recommend an open source solution like Rustdesk!
