- Yes, you read the title correctly. #AliceCooper stops by Jonesy’s Jukebox to get candid about the humbling time where everyone cared more about ABBA than him, being so scary that the band cleared an entire venue in 2 songs, and more!

Steve Jones is so genuine that he sometimes kills a joke by answering it with logic or sincerity.
Autism.
Yeah, I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Also the way and the place he grew up was a lot less showbiz and a lot more down to earth and "every man" than a lot of the musicians or celebs he interviews and/or associates with.
A guy like Alice Cooper is probably or quite possibly just as grounded and direct as Steve Jones but he also has a character/persona to play up to and a showbiz side that comes across as a bit cheesy around somebody like Jones.
I actually like Alice though and don't want to single him out because Steve does the same to everyone.
Jonesys jukebox is arguably the least pretentious interview show in history. I like him and will listen to every one he does.
Alice is such a nice guy and great character.
A quality, quality interview and a big hand for Alice, indeed.
I like how he abides in Christ and bears fruit of Righteousness, NOT!
TWO great legends who never fail to entertain.
Alice has looked the same for over 40 yrs. haha He's eternal.
Like Rick Ocasek he looks the same now ! lol
He looks a hell of a lot better than 40 years ago, 1980, he looked like death.. the height of his addictions.
@@GerardWaysHun20 No grog is the secret. Good genes is just as important. 👍
He hasn't changed a bit.
makes sense, he's a vampire
I was there.. Captain Beyond opened, JOJO GUNN middle band, and Alice! Fantastic Show..!
No mate , you're not talking gibberish.
Alice Cooper's "Sun Arise" was the very first song to hook me on that album. I played it over and over
Love Jonesy, he's the man, love the show, but I'll be honest, I prefer it in the studio.
I first got into Alice Cooper at the age of ten . I was obsessed . Great to see Alice on the show Steve . Just been playing the spunk bootleg by the Sex Pistols . I like it as much as NMTB . Love the underwater sounds on submission and your guitar work is out of this world .
..different-genre here&there but just before KISS in very late 69'....🇺🇸 the NAZZ the AliceCooper the original original preMetal, shock rock, theater, rockNroll monster band was born THEN the lead singer born again glam =became ALICE COOPER.......Alice Cooper kicks ass all members GOD BLESS ALICE COOPER LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL!!!
I love Fridays with Jonesy👍🏽❤️
Thanks for the mention bud and glad to hear your up and running again 😎🎸🙏
Another fantastic interview!
Lookin good Jonesy!
And of course Alice as always.
Thanks for doing this
I have been there sense the beginning, love you Alice!
Alice says im 18 and i like it.
Thank you, I needed a Jonsey fix.
Happy birthday to my number one best friend and family member Alice cooper love your best friends Rocky Roxy, Johnny and the kids 💋💋💋💋🎂🎂🎂🧛🏻♂️
Best interview with Alice Cooper in how many years? Great stuff!
love alice cooper
loved the stories the interview went to quick !!
" Very Engaging " With Both " Interviewer " And " Interviewee " The Charisma of Alice Cooper at " Boiling Point " Throughout!!! From Adrian Browne 1965
Alice mentioned Holly Knight. Love her. Brilliant songwriter. Loved her in Device and her solo album.
Alice looks and sounds amazing for being 72.... better than a lot of 50 year olds.
My first rock concert I ever attended was the Welcome to My Nightmare tour.
Me too
I agree with Alice. The current band is the best of his great career and he has had some great bands. I loved the Kane Roberts era.
Brilliant interview...only saw Alice once ..thus far .. Perth entertainment centre 1997
I love you and your music💜💜💜keep it up. Miss Steve hu Terry. Saw you on 14th street NYC, way back. Love you more now
Watching from Corning , NY
Page also played some sessions for Nico, for a single in Britain, prior to the VU album.
Looking forward to seeing Alice Cooper in Auckland this February
Alice is turning 72 in 3 days and seems so much younger than Jonesy who's 64.
8 years in it.
Thats not much when you get old.
People die in their 50's.
@@christoguichard4311 some want to die in their 50's
Dan, alice is 72 years young today 2/4/48 was when he was born
Alice looks after himself. Jonesy has indulged
“Pelted with Panties”....Now that’s a great band name.
Or , Pelt Panties.
I wasn't expecting to listen to this while interview but Alice and Jonesy are sooooooooo damn interesting !!
My older brother had "School's Out" Record with light blue paper looking undies around the record. Old USA albums we're all full of gimmicks like that at one stage. Record covers were great for looking at and wondering what the meaning was behind them.
Good Fun&Steve's Glow is coming back,Thank God!!:)
I noticed that right off.
Jonesy mess ups when he gets flustered. ‘Jeeeeeeeeesus I mean 18’ Ryan seacrest Move over 🤣🤣🤣
Mate of mine took Vincent out for a round of golf in Brisbane.
Said he was a top bloke and a serious golfer
YES..... ALICE COOPER 😎👍🏻👍🏻
STAY HEALTHY, Jonesy!
THE COOP! long live
Man, Alice is looking darn good!
Jonesy. Lose some weight man I want you to be around for many more years.
I thought the same , he is BIG. Good session with Alice.
Wow I know what you mean. His breathing is poor too.
@@wallybingbang7359 too many visits to those pie and mash shops in London. Him and cookie were regular visitors.
Nothing like a mellowed out punk rocker interviewing his piers
Jonesy, thanks for another great interview. try and check out the young aussie band The Chats, some of their videos are hilarious
I dont think this is Jonesys page
Pair of Legends
12:51 Probably because of what Alice says in the outro:
"We have problems on the North, South, East and West,
New York City, Saint Louis, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago,
Everybody has problems,
And personally, I don't care."
#SteveHunter #DickWagner greatest studio - live concert guitar players
'Rock n Roll Animal' is the greatest live guitar rock album of all time.
Love The Coop. Love Steve Jones. Nothing revelatory here but a fun, great listen--complete with Cooper's penchant for name-dropping, changing stories, and hyperbole. But, in addition to the killer (pun intended) voice and music, that's why we love him.
And some of the comments here are hilarious. It's two old rockers shooting the shit not Meet The Press. Yeah, I always watch interviews with 50+ year old rockers with songs like "I Love the Dead" and "No Feelings" for important and deep political and social commentary. Yeesh!
Alice sleeps 22 hrs a day he’s a vampire that is why he looks so good
Punk guitar god interviews rock god! Love ya Jonesy!
I think Malcom had a word with Axel. Young that is. Oh and the original Alice Cooper were just Fxxxxx amazing.
All this time, and I finally learn how the name Alice Cooper came about.
Amazing job doing this show....hands down best interview show today....for a sex pistols guitar player..
O Alice Cooper parece que não envelhece.
Já o Steve Jones envelheceu muito. Quase não reconheci ele.
Alice Cooper is a legend
The Aussie Fire was caused by people not the environment
Don't make idiotic statements. There were multiple fires and in most cases they were kicked off by lightning strikes in a tinder dry drought situation.
Joe Rodriguez Another Trump Theory ?
@@rjlchristie it was caused by Arsonist.
@@johnsradios484 you mad, Crooked Hillary lost
@@rjlchristie …yeah, over 100 far-left-moron arsonists have been arrested. Ya heard-
Had the most memorable night in Melbourne Australia and to clarify people living in the fire areas homes lost animals sad to say and lives
Go ask Alice... anything goes as usual. Yes absolutely Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner were incredibly good guitarists...after they did Rock and Roll Animal with Lou Reed they joined Alice and managed to play on Peter Gabriel's first and best album
I wonder if after this was over Jonesy lifted up his cape and flew off into the sunset?
Page did the rhythm guitar on Goldfinger. As the Rolling Stone magazine said, "He propelled the song".
That Rhythm guitar you can't hear and no one knew was there....let alone be aware Jimmy Page played it. Hardly propelled the entire song when it must be the quietest part in the mix...
Love to have a round of golf with Alice!
The most venomous snakes in Australia are in Canberra .We call that snake pit Government
Tottaly agree
Sound like the US. And Europe. And China. We are screwed
Your Australian government did a better job dealing with this pandemic than the UK government though.
@@Eleventhearlofmars You got to be careful with the Australian people .We have the ability to see through bullshit a little better than most
@@nicksmifso8071 eh? I don’t understand what you’re getting at?!
I wonder how many people realise Alice Cooper was the name of the band.
The confusion lead to the band falling apart and Vincent Furner taking the name.
You forgot to mention the best Aussie band in the land " Radio Birdman".
Had to look them up but I really like the sound. Its ,time discovering "new" music for me
Party On Alice Cooper 🤘🏻😀👍🏼
Audience loves Death who loves Alice Cooper on stage.
Atta boy Alice!
He’s from Detroit and he used to be drinking buddies with Jim Morrison. But he quit drinking and saved himself. Jim did not. And he gave up drugs. He plays golf instead which is a lot healthier.
About Koalas, they sleep 22 hours a day and the other two they eat Eucalyptus leaves which has a Narcotic effect. So basically they are stoned while they’re awake and the rest of the time they’re asleep. What a life! But they are incredibly vulnerable and dependent on Eucalyptus trees.
"At 86 if you're caught with a....he didn't get *caught* until he got really old, from what I understand" - Musician, singer-songwriter, composer, comedian, actor, painter and television personality - convicted in 2014 - released 2017! Old age 'disease' dementia as an alibi didn't work? Anyways, Mr Alice Cooper gives an entertaining interview here!
Love the Cop.
you should also mention hundreds of people have been arrested for arson also they used do fires seasonally to prevent fires but the greens stopped the farmers from doing it.
This has been proven incorrect and fake news. Stop spreading it.
Arson is totally involved along with the California Wildfires-probably the upper echelon authorities doing it.
..."you should also mention..."
Should they? I say you are talking utter garbage.
Here's some fact checking for you:
czcams.com/video/t0x46-enxsA/video.html
If you are too lazy to watch it all, arson and later, controlled burns, is addressed after the ten minute mark
Jonesy..class name check for the awesome Saints..... check em out guys... This Perfect Day.......
Heart
Special Forces was hella cocaine lol glad he’s okay
' I love rock 'n roll ' thanks Jonesy , your cool as fuck !
Don't give Jonesy a wafer.
Whoever heard of an entire "continent" on fire is more like it, Vinny.
check out Alice Cooper doing "7 and 7 is" on Tom Snyder. the clip is on youtube. you can see how wacked out he was!
@Rob Foam He was so wacked out! At least he recognizes it as a low point. He looked like a mentally ill drug addict on the streets.
@Rob Foam Oh the band is tight in that clip, and Alice is still solid of course. i forgot how good that song, "Who do you think we are" is. i don't know who is in the band. i looked it up on wikipedia, and it looks like Davey Johnstone (Elton John's guitarist) played on the album, but i don't know if he was in that clip.
@Rob Foam that's AWESOME man!!!!!!!
I thought Mike Pinera from Iron Butterfly and Dick Wagner were part of Alices band at the time
@@markrago7217 i looked it up, and Pinera was indeed on the "Special Forces" album, but Dick Wagner wasn't. He left after 1978's "From the Inside" album.
20+ people dead, 1000-2000 homes destroyed, a billion animals dead.on a better note Long live Oz Rock !!
Vincent looks to be in amazing shape
Jonesy looks like he's been in the good paddock
Vince might be wrong. Lenny Bruce died in 66. Vince said the show for Lenny birthday was 68.
I think it was one of those "memorial/anniversary"-type things
"Special Forces" is a great great album, I can't recommend it high enough for you Alice Cooper Band purists who ONLY listen to the first few albums 🙂
Flush the Fashion
Stupid youtube.....making them cut out the music.
It's nice hearing foreigners talk about Australian animals. A lot of Australians wouldn't mind all the poisonous snakes going to Sydney
Were they his own?
Alice cooper is 🤴 king.
Always humble and smart. Steve is looking like a tomato 🍅.
MANMADE FIRE
omg alice is so awesome!! i wish i was his wife
Wrong about Page playing on Donovan and definitely on Tom Jones tunes...that was the awsome Big Jim Sullivan.
I'd pay to watch Alice slurp on noodle soup
The mental acuity of Alice Cooper is impressive. Maybe it’s the juxtaposition to Jonesy?
I think he's still confused, Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner did not join Alice's band until 1975
They worked on album sessions as far back as 1972.
hunter - Wagner both played on Alice Cooper records far as 1972
As ghost players, but they were not in band photos as Steve suggested. In fact the band was rarely photographed after Alice went solo.
Dont think Vince and Steve were quite on the same page there
The entire country is not on fire. C'mon.
Everyone's flying over there... just saying.
Alice Cooper sits down with Jabba The Hutt!
alice has some choppers
Australia is the outback & Sydney huh lol
Oh my goodness how big is Steve getting?
