Emirates 787 order timeline:
- 40 B787-10s in 2017, then changed
- 30 B787-9s in 2019, then changed again
- 20 B787-8s and 15 B787-10s in 2023
My bet is they'll change their mind on the 787 order again soon.
I’m sure they won’t change their minds again
Why?
If they do it’s because of the delays from boeing
5 new aircraft types*
True
I’m excited for the a350
Correction: the 787-9 has the longest range of the 787 family
It will take some time to get used to this 😅
Looking good. Great airline.
I expect for Airbus A350.
I wanna board it long distance!
Love to travel on Airbus Anyday
That’s a lot of airplanes.
superb video mister 🤩😍🤩😍
I want the 737 700 to be emirates
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Texas is further than Brazil
There are parts of Brazil that are further away from Dubai than Texas is, but the releveant Cities in Brazil are in fact closer to Dubai than for example Houston or Dallas
Until I left Emirates in 2020, our longest direct flights were AKL, LAX, SFO. IAH, IAD, GRU were slightly shorter.
I think they've started Mexico but I don't know if it's direct.
@@MrSchwabentier yeah you're like off by several hundred kilometers. The furthest Western most country in South America is Ecuador. Now I know from Dubai you're going to go south west. Versus Texas where you'd be going slightly Northwest. But most of Texas is at least 500 to 600 km further than even the westernmost points of Brazil.
I'm more excited about the A350, mainly because it's the most likely to actually be delivered and not just wishful thinking.
All i know is i hate that tail
EK feel afraid of Riad Air....thats why....
The 777 9 won't arrive in 2025 I'd give it at least another year and it won't have the fuel savings claimed I hope to be proved wrong
Nah it will. These aircraft have been flying for 2 years and the performance data will be available to airlines to prove the theory. Hence why emirates literally doubled down on the platform
Reports are suggesting that the 777-9 is actually exceeding performance targets, but yea you know better than everyone else don't you
airbus fanboi cant digest the facts,, the disaster of A380😅😅😅
@@prasenjittripura3??
this video feels like it has been done before
same editing style and similar topics makes it feel the same
paint may also be on Tim's mind when he made that statement.

Emirates order double large cheese burger, French fries, and large soda to go.
Clark complaining about A350-1000 which in service by other airlines. Than orders airplane that isn’t certified and doesn’t fly at all. Good one! Don’t come and say it will be certified soon. It’s been late 5+ years!
and it was even about the planes 'engines' . but he's okay with the 777x engines... like bro for real?
@@okim1541 Nothing wrong with the 777X's engines. Safety certifications take time that's all!
I heard Rolls Royce engines doesnt perform well in hot conditions like in the middle east region
Basically everything airline mangers ever say in public are negotiation tactics. Doesn't matter which airline, doesn't matter which manufacturer. So always always always take any comments very carefully.
The RR engines on the 773 were pretty woeful.
Who misses the EK A330?
No one
@@tsikiniteI do
Their A330s had the best legroom in the fleet
I hope no Boeing, otherwise I will change my airline
Second !
First to view and comment 😂
1308th to watch 😂
surprisingly you were actually first
Emirates needs short haul aircraft like a220 a320
Why?
Why? Their current selection of widebodies has proven to be profitable
No they don't
It’s called Fly Dubai.
Wide body aircraft provide better consistency
What is the point of having A350s, 777s, and 787s??? Wouldnt it be better and more logical to have one longhaul widebody type to streamline literally everything from pilot training and scheduling to maintenance operations?
Edit: I know next to nothing about airline operations or economics, I'm just genuinely curious
hopefully they would retire the a380s
they probably won’t soon, until they reach their max age
the relationship between emirates and their a380s is like lufthansa and their 747
against all odds, they still make it profitable and have no intentions of retiring soon
I hope they don’t. I love seeing those beats fly
That's not happening anytime soon
