Romanovs: The Real Story

  • Unknown and unrevealed facts, which evince that many truths in regard to the life and death of the Romanovs remain silenced or distorted to this day. Nicholas II was surrounded by the forceful presence of his mother, the Dowager Empress, and his uncles. This generation of Romanovs could have, under normal circumstances, expected another two decades of service to and influence over their nation, and it was with both regret and misgivings that they kissed the hands of their new young sovereign and his Hessian bride.
    This video is produced as part of the project for the book "The Romanov Royal Martyrs”, which is an impressive 512-page book, featuring nearly 200 black & white photographs, and a 56-page photo insert of more than 80 high-quality images, colorized by the acclaimed Russian artist Olga Shirnina (Klimbim) and appearing here in print for the first time.

And, of late, found that my Polish family was also royal family. Which I had never known about until very recent times. Whenever I read or see anything about the Romanovs, it hurts me. Knowing that his first cousin, George V of England, could have saved them all. With all the power and might of England behind him. But, he caved in to politicians. What a shame. My middle sister and I went on to get our degrees from Jesuit University. All of this background sets the stage for this. My family was and continues to be tight and gentle and always family oriented.

      If you are interested in the truth about the life and death of the last Romanov family, as well as to what really took place in Russia during that turbulent era, then we highly recommend our book, which offers previously unpublished materials strictly from primary and archival sources. Our book brings to light a multitude of unknown and unrevealed facts, which evince that many truths remain silenced or distorted to this day. If you like to learn more, you can visit our official website: www.romanovs.eu/en-book
      In the pages of the book, the eye of the reader’s mind will be apprised of the portraits of the Romanov family's psyche, depicted with the colors of their very own words from the personal writings of the family and of those who lived very close to them.

    I remember when I worked in radio in the '70s, one station played what is called elevator music! There was one song that I loved, it was beautiful, it was the theme song "Nickolas and Alexandra! I haven't heard it in decades!

      Have you been in an elevator lately?? Go to EBay/Amazon and can buy the NICHOLAS AND ALEXANDRA soundtrack on record. I’ve tried but can’t find the soundtrack on CD.

    I absolutely love everything about the Romanov’s and am saving to get the book , I’ve watch every thing over and over again in case I missed something my love for these people ,I feel like I know them , one thing I noticed in your stories that go with each video , sorry not to be pickie but you have mixed up Olga and Tatiana a lot , they do look alike , you said in this one Olga was not taking to being a nurse that well but good with the books , in the last video you said that Tatiana was not to good as a nurse for her sensitivity and sweet heart ,she did better on doing the bandages and doing the logs in the medical books , others is just you’d show a pic of Olga and it would be Tatiana ,and vice versa they really do look alike , I have their faces sketched perfectly in my mind for years , I’m very sorry I didn’t want to bring this up at all ,but the more I thought about it year later I had to mention something out of respect ,not to be bold ,or nasty , or mean I love your book ,I love the Romanov’s God Bless . Ps. Please excuse my miss spelling ,see that’s my fall out . Your Book is the Best Ever ! I watch the videos of it over and over with such warmth and love .

    Strange, none of the Eurpoean Royal Families came forward to help them!

    • @reybensoulmates6498
      @reybensoulmates6498 Před 3 lety +5

      They were protecting themselves in their countries, afraid to stand up for a deposed emperor, though he even was a relative. That would be so hard to live with after that, knowing because of you not stepping up, these ppl were horrifically killed. A couple of the rulers of different countries probably counted on "someone else will help".
      Ppl unfortunately do that often. 😥

      How could you do that? Knowing someone who is in danger and not coming forward to help with all the powers in your hand. How helpless they must have been. Irrespective who they are and when you know very well they are in danger, we must not hesitate to help in your best capacity and that's what I call being human. Unfortunately, we all live in a violent society,

    day by day I get fascinated of the Romanovs. Though they ended in a tragic way but it is a relief that their bodies were retrieved and were turned into martyrs . Best royal family as far as history is concerned.

    I am no stranger to the tragedy. i've studied Russian history from an American's perspective going back some 40 years. But that photo at 41:43 brought me to tears.

    l have been binge watching any and everything related to the Romanovs. l cannot wait to buy the book when l get padi next. The more l learn about them the deeper it hurts, cause they were incredible really incredible. To me they embodied true grace and could have done so much good for the world had they been able to live out their lives. Love and appreciation from Australia.
