This one was one of my favorite intros ever. Great work everyone.
This video just gives me a new respect for the complexities your team goes through for something so short and seems so simple.
It’s anything but simple.
By far one of the coolest intros. When I first watched it my first thought was amazing it was and how much you stepped it up from previous videos. Not to say previous ones weren't also great, just you set the bar high now!

I’ve been waiting for this video since they released the review video. From sketching, production to edit and sound. Everything fits together so perfectly. It shows how much they care about production quality when they spend 2 and a half days on the intro that’s so amazing.

What's insane about a video like this is the level that "simple" tech reviews have gone to. I remember when I first came across MKBHD at around 50K subs, filming at home with a few moving shots. Now we're here. Kudos. Amazing to see.

Brilliance is an understatement. I just love how you get creative together and cleverly use tech to get the results that blow much higher budget productions out of the water. Sure, the robot helps but still - this is beyond amazing and I appreciate the raw breakdown!

This is great! I definitely watched that intro like 10 times when the video released.
I know how great that SmallHD image overlay feature is; but I'm curious, how come y'all put props in one at a time for the final sequence of shots instead of setting up the final frame (with Marques' picking up the phone) and then removing props one at a time for the different takes?
I'm sure y'all considered this but was there some barrier that didn't allow this?

I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't it have been easier to do it in reverse from the final frame as they are repeating shots for each prop anyway?
Maybe they have their reasoning, and I'm curious to know.
Basically wanted to do away with as much masking and blending as possible - between shadows being added from props as well as trying to avoid moving the phone until the very last take… just keeps editing a little simpler and 1-1 with framing!

I remember how Apple screwed up the editing on their iPhone 15 ad by editing out the dynamic island. And look at you guys putting in effort to make sure that they appear accurate! Appreciate the effort!
