Nice setup mate, im in the process of finishing my own greenhouse aquaponics build. When i build my final iteration id like to do something like Goliad Farms, basically the floor of the greenhouse becomes the sump. Just a big pond liner and then build footpaths and growbeds on top of it.

I just checked Goliad Farm, wow that's an amazing idea, if I saw that greenhouse design before I built mine, I mostly likely incorporate that design into my greenhouse, my head already spinning with ideas hahaha. Good luck with the build

Yeh its a great idea hey, can have a massive sump and anything that leaks, leaks back into the sump anyway@@chu0435

Great video. Just subscribed and rung the bell mate, them filters are amazing. I always wondered how Americans treat for parasites , I'm from Yorkshire, England 👍

Thanks!!!! I don't really treat for parasites because if your water condition is good and your fish does not stress then they can fend for themselves

Clearly you are very good at filtration and making it affordable yet very effective! Amazing. How would you approach it if your pond was MUCH larger (say 10x bigger)? Roughly where are you located?

The concept will be the same even if the pond is 10 times bigger. I would use about 6 energy efficient water pumps, each pump consumes 140 watts and delivers 4,200 gal/hours, 3 pumps for skimming and 3 pumps at the deepest part of the pond to take out all the solid waste. Position those pumps to where you will have lots of water movements all around the pond, so let's just say your pond is around 50,000 gal, 6 pumps will consume around 840 watts and will turn over your whole pond every 2 hours. Each pump you will need 3 (55 gal) barrels for the filtration, the pump will go to the first barrel and then from the first barrel split into 2 barrels to slow down the water rate to capture more solid and house the biological media then go back to the pond. As for the aquaponic system is just an add-on the will help your ponds even more and free vegetables for 3 seasons out of the year. Hopefully that will give you an idea on how to approach this big project. I live in Oklahoma

I love your set up and thanks for sharing! Can you please tell me where did you buy your skimmer from?

Can you do a video on how you built your waterfalls

I built the pond and waterfall about 9 years ago so I don't have any video on it, but it is built by using cinder block for each level
