I don't have a bottom drain cause I don't want to cut my pond liner is a mess to fix future leaks, I have a 4,000 gal pump position at the deepest part of the pond that acts as a bottom drain and it goes to the sieve filter

How did you build the big waterfall?
I mostly use cinder blocks to form the water fall and lots of cement
I love it but I would rather see something like red volcanic Rock or clay balls rather than plastic
Plastic float so is easier to clean
