The Koi Pond is build by Sacha and has multiple bodemdrains and skimmers. The techniques that are used in this "classic" Koi Pond are very nice! Beautiful pond, always amazed by the Switzerland scenery. How can you chose a favourite koi out that lot, goshiki and hi utsuri look amazing. I always love to see ponds that aren’t just full of kohaku. Clever filtration unit, it does make sense so slowly introduce koi rather than rush things.

What a gorgeous pond and some outstanding koi as well. Question. How are to 4 bottom drains connected to the filters? Do all 4 link up to feed both filters or are they split 2 and 2 going to each filter? If all 4 link up to feed both filters does each drain line have its own control valve to guarantee proper flow especially from the drains farthest away from the filters?
Very good question KR, ive just looked in to some other footage i didn't used in the video. Its a 2 and 2 split. ;)

@@TheKoiPartner Hi, very nice deck on top of the filtersystem. Could you give me some information about the electric or hydraulik stemps which open up the deck so easy. Maybe you have an adress where I can by it, or an articlediscribtion. Would be great
There's no way that's all the bio media he has, that's too little for a 13000 gallon pond, I mean if he plans on keeping like 10 koi that might be somewhat ok. But it's too small in my opinion.
