What is the person trying to clinch waiting for his opponent to do before he comes in? How do you create the angle without your opponent immediately turning to face you? Are you always trying to angle to the outside of their lead leg or can you also angle the other way?
Now this is sparring, working on a set of skills and improving on weaknesses. Seen too many gym wars on YT. Great communication from the coach.

Casuals(or a lot of them) think boxing is all about punching. But boxing is also about clinching, working in the clinch, and using footwork.

H-town281 A he was obviously practicing his clinch. I do the same thing in sparring from time to time.
