Best Practices is just another gimmick! I specifically sought out a Dr. Cliff Hearing Up recommended audiologist (the nearest office was over a hour away) but after the audiologist confirmed they followed “Best Practices” according to Dr. Cliff guideline I chose this office, they even said they watch Dr. Cliff videos too. After hearing aides were ordered I noticed some of the recommended best practices were not being followed. The audiologist said nobody has time to do every best practice? Really? After the initial fitting (REM) I was asked, how do those sound? They were too sharp and I struggled to tolerate the new hearing aides. The Audiologist provided one followup appointment then schedule a follow-up in 6 months. Almost no post fit testing other than “how do those sound”? Not even a customer satisfaction survey. All this talk about hearing your best is simply BS! With no post fit testing there is no way of knowing if you hear better with the new hearing aides or not. No signal to noise testing, not even a simple word recognition test. They didn’t even fully explain or setup the new devices, I learned what I could from CZcams videos. Audiologist are simply professional snake oil salesman..

My audiologist (HearUSA) was as bad as the experience you shared.
