Yeah, the judges were disappointing on this one. Guess they just didn't like rap, nor pirates and adding the two together was a no win concept for America's Got Talent. The song was technically sharp, well produced, fun, great energy, creative and everything I like about Scurvy Crew. Really felt sad for the crew and hope they weren't too shook up about landlubber opinions. I suppose the audition only shows that "Nerd Core" genre music is by definition special interest niche and hope they keep producing more albums. You guys are AWESOME!

I read in the New Yorker shortly after that there was some strong concern about cultural appropriation coming from the actual Pirate community. These guys need to do a full length pirate musical with a historic angle.
