It was a genius camouflage that she was able to allure all the judges, including the audience to become active participants in his comedy acts. It is very amusing that Heidi became really annoyed, having no clue at all that it was a comedy act. In spite of being annoyed, the judges showed respect for Krista to continue. Simon was very courteous " I am begging you."

You need to be open-minded and not make advanced conclusions with regard to any typo errors. Nothing in my statements suggested any negativity or being rude. Krista is a female comedian but she presented herself as a male singer under the name "Sunny Chatum", part of the comedy act. Thank you.

First of all, she’s brilliant! Someone linked me to this so I knew it was her, but I had no idea that this was her act. The way she revealed it at the end got everyone laughing.

I caught on too🤣 sunny chatum and as the character was going on I just figured that was part of the last name like being chatty. Lmao. I think it’s freaking hilarious!! Great job Krista!
@@zacharyboone2484 Thank you Zachary! I'm glad you picked up on Chatum. Sunny's name came to me like a fully formed gift. The creative process is so exciting that way - details come to the surface, and after you write them down, you realize how perfectly they fit together with the whole package.

I find it interesting Heidi was last to Buzz the act but the only one to say No. I also find it interesting that the crowd constantly laughed then booed. She had the entire room torn with their own emotions!
The entire show is scripted.
It might be a case of first feeling sorry for the contestant for then to feel stupid or backstabbed, scripted or not..

This genius was successfully to get everybody involved in her performance. She was successfully to arouse everyone’s emotions, in term of feeling annoyed angry, impatient, happy, excited, and unexpected. She was successfully to make the four judges to give her four crosses purposefully. She was successfully to turn the result from negative back to positive. Brilliant performance indeed！

I know Krista personally. We did some improv together once upon a time. She is not only a super talented performer but also an RN and a very deep person who does a lot of service in her community. So happy to see her nailing it on AGT!

I got the joke when the shakers came out and towards the end the mega punchline, she still had to tune her instrument. Brilliant! I am so pleased the audience loved her during the reveal as much as i did. Great job!

Midway into her act, I said to myself, "He should have said he was doing comedy, not music". Because her act made me laugh so hard. 😂 I don't know how the judges couldn't spot that early on. I LOVED her act.

Heidi’s face when she says “she’s not here tonight, she’s taking care of her mother.” is priceless.
Half the audience was howling laughter throughout the non-singing cowboy dialogue. I watched it 3 times it was just too damn funny.
I have to say. I was in tears, stomach hurting when watching this. The next day it is even more hilarious!!!! Comedic Genius!!! Howie was annoyed!!

She made the audience and judges part of her act. Brilliant performance ! I was laughing from the beginning of her act. When it got to the point of mentioning of her friend who was not there I knew it was an act within the act. 😂😂😂😂
That was the part that it became obvious to me that it is a comedy act. The judges overlooked the obvious.
😂😂😂It came off as way more confusing and bizarre than I intended, I wanted to say 'Hi' to Pea so that she would see me saying 'HI' as she was watching the broadcast.
She played them like a well tuned fiddle. Brilliant!
The best part about this is I actually have family that live in Paris texas... 😂 I believe this whole heartedly.. I was convinced this was somebody from Paris... Bravo!! absolutely amazing acting..

I was in the live audience with this. She was the last person to go after a long day (lots of so-so acts) and the audience was sooo annoyed and walked out immediately after the reveal. 😂
You are one of those creeps who thinks saying dumb annoying things makes you "too cool for school"? Everyone was riveted at the end. They all stood on their feet once she made the reveal. YOU were the annoyed person who didn't get it until you got home and someone explained it to you. Terry had to tell everyone the show was over and it was time to leave. These are facts. You are not.

@@susandeleon4702 I've been to two tapings. The first one was really good, the audience stayed extra since some things had to be retaped. At this one, the audience straight up left (and several left DURING the show despite us being told not to move)

I was catching on about midway, but didn't really think it was actually a woman. But after the 4th X they started playing Shania's "Feel Like a Woman", then it hit me. SUPER hilarious act,..so good that I almost think that the judges were actually in on it,..the timing with the buzzers was too perfect. You have to wonder what her second act will be since she won't be able to fool the audience or the judges again.
She's actually got a good number of characters that are completely opposite of each other. After she mentioned the name, I looked her up and found her on Instagram. she's been doing this for years on small stages in New York. I'm definitely curious to see the next personality!

I knew this was a character right away - the cringe seemed intentional, similar to acts like Sethward. I thought of Andy Kaufman, too, and his incredible ability to make an audience deeply uncomfortable (even hostile) through his performance art. Funny to see how quickly the attitudes of judges and audience completely flipped.

They are used to shield her eyes from the lights. She has trouble seeing things at a distance when the lights are really bright.
You immediately know from the beginning it's a comic. I loved it!
A lot of the AGT fans would not really understand this act. It's a bit drama and music heavy in the US competition. As far as the average preference. I realized this was some solid comedy and method acting once she revealed herself.

In addition to annoying Simon and getting the crowd to go along with him up and down during his routine two best part were the storyboard when Krista looked at the crowd and said you're loving me, aren't you? And when Howie said that he was setting himself apart from the rest, and Krista said back, to him, thank you Howie! In such the perfect tone too LOL

She had me completely fooled. Sometimes AGT has acts on that are shown strictly because they're terrible, but usually they're cut short after 10 or 15 seconds or so, just short "filler clips". I kept wondering why they were dragging this one out entirely too long. It was brilliant as she seemingly had everyone emotionally involved in the bit. Really genius comedic act!
My conclusion is that Sonny Chatham projected a goofy personality and the judges did not want to offend.
I thought this act was just a horrible excuse to fill in the run time, but it was pretty clever that this was his intention the whole time and had us all fooled. I love that Heidi talked to him like she was talking to a naughty kid by trying to make him do something.

I have watched this about three or four times a day since the releasing moment, and every time i should laugh at something, even the way of how Haidi and Sophia freacked out of the buzzer sound... She is a genius to play every one like that.
