Good comment. But not only that. What judges - including Simon - don't understand is, that he is joking about judges, who are taking their job too seriously. That means, judges are seeing him only as an act, which they are supposed to judge. One can see that on their reactions and confusion.

He really really made me laugh. They didn't get it that he divided his comedian audition into three parts with three characters, he wanted to show them.his skills and abilities of comedy. Only Simon got it at the end.
