He also said that he is going to re upload his videos in his own channel and he explained how his videos were hurting the GT channel with how the current CZcams algorithm works now, and how everyone knew this was going to happen eventually yet he didn’t do anything because he was suffering with depression at the time, and now he wants to make videos again

The best ones were the original fallout based ones and a few other he did before working with game theory, I don't remember where they are if they're still up but they were great.

His uploads weren't as frequent.
Since many waited for Austin's videos rather than MatPat's, putting the channel's image at risk.

Austin has gotten all his videos, and can upload them whenever he wants. Also unlisting the videos is what happened to other hosts on game theory, so it would be unfair to them if they stayed up.
They don't want to fire somebody and then proceed to make money from content they made. Its out of respect of those they fire.
That is also not what he said! He said the writing and editing schedule he had to keep up in order to fit with GT’s video schedule was taking a toll on his mental health and his segment wasn’t popular enough to make it worth it
The videos belong to Austin, so if he leaves, it's unfair to everyone to keep them up on Game Theory
@@spikyd.revenant8661 Yup, that's why all other videos by previous hosts have been delisted, and the videos are still with the owners.
I actually appreciate this. This isn't like any other company that just because you created something within company grounds/time is that they own it. Heck other channels actually do that and it's unfair, but likely they may have had contracts like regular companies that we don't know about.
But what I like about GT is that they give respect to the people they hire.
Btw most of the previous hosts were actually helped by matpat, some of them were struggling with their channels, so by having some of their content included in the Game Theory channel which was doing good by that time, they can earn while being able to promote their channel, and overtime some of them actually became part of team theorists, not only on helping with theory crafting but also became editors and such
Seeing as he sold his channels to a company, wouldn’t be surprised if this was a corporate decision.

i never really liked the SCIENCE that much honestly but it makes me so sad that its erased. i mean... i dont understand how it works but i dont see the reason they had to delete it...

He was the remaining spark that somewhat resembled old GT. His departure is a final nail in the coffin for GT's colorful personality.

I only watched his videos. I would watch them multiple times because they where so entertaining. What a shame they felt he wasn’t a good fit. He theorized so much science stuff that is still in place in a lot of communities today
I really enjoyed Austin work cause it gave more fluff then what matpat did. While yes matpat talked about this or that it didn’t really keep my attention, if I’m honest he done to much fnaf and lore stuff rather then just create CZcams theories. I’m getting off topic this is suppose to be about Austin and how what he does is much more interesting but there was also that bigger feeling of somewhat connecting with him as well, like he’d tell story’s from past events or things in his life that were going on in his life. He even talked somewhat about his depression or at the least let us know that he has it. I do hope things look up for him and I hope he continues to have a wonderful career here on youtube.

Maybe MatPat just kinda sucks. I've loved game theory since I was a kid. Doesn't mean the person behind it is flawless.

I'll be honest, I never really liked his videos, they were boring for me, like, they were so boring for me that if I didn't see this short, I wouldn't even realise that he left. At this point I don't even watch the normal GT videos (unless something REALLY interests me) because they feel kinda sluggish but I hope he re uploads his videos in his own channel. He worked hard for those and he deserves the praise from the people who used to watch him

He was annoying and his voice and demeanor was pointless and the theory's where crack theories and I'm glad they realize that anytime I saw a video that was being done by him I instantly stop watching
