- Randy is a pronghorn junkie. When his long-time friend, Mike Spitzer, asked Randy to join on his Nevada pronghorn hunt, there was no hesitation to accept that offer. Nevada is home to a surprising number of pronghorn, including many mature bucks. Mike has one buck in mind, a special buck that shows what kind of hunting Nevada has to offer.

The best part of the hunt is not always kill, but the great times spent with good friends and the memories! Thank you for sharing this wonderful hunt with all of us!
Thanks for making this content available Uncle Randy. Loved watching it
That was a great episode Randy. Thanks! And congratz to Mike as well!
very , very nice Mike , great perseverance , fantastic harvest ! Love the reality of hard core truth of this hunt again, the way it should be . Another magnetic vid Randy & team , love it guys !
I've been blessed to get to see lots of pronghorn in many states. That is a beautiful buck!! congratulations!
Thank you!
That was a terrific antelope hunt. Great job, Mike and Randy and crew.
Actually watched this one on your Amazon channel and it is a good one. Who doesn't love a good speed goat hunt/chase. Missing sadly is part of it, but a clear miss is way better than wounding any animal. Congrats to Mike for the 3rd time is the charm with that trophy pronghorn. Kind of appropriate to share a Nevada hunt 4 days before the big game application deadline of April 29th. Even though drawing an elk tag in Nevada is expensive and tough, pronghorn and muleys are not near as expensive and the odds are better. Good luck to everyone who applies.
What a dream come true, and to be able to enjoy it with close friends as well! Nuttin' "more gooder".
Awesome video Randy
Awesome hunt!!!! Randy Newberg has the best show I've found yet. I drew Unit 15 here in New Mexico for the first time this year!! Cant wait til September
@@nmelkhunter1 saw plenty of elk but didn't get one shot due to being to picky and not having alot of days to hunt
As always and entertaining video, and also a real hunting experience. It isn't all kill shots and success. Relatable. We've all been there (after a miss). Thank you for an honest and complete experience.
Nice one! Great buck! Way to push through the bad thoughts... We have all been there...
Great job mike! Enjoyed it all randy. Keep it up.
Perseverance is the key, great shot at +300... congrats. Mahalo and Aloha from the Big Isle "🤙"
another awesome video guy. good job. great content
Your shooting is good as Randy
Makes me excited for Sept !!!!
Nice buck fellas!
Don't worry too much about missing mike! I missed the same mule deer buck 4 times
Last NA critter on my list. Driving me crazy!
Are there a lot of Pronghorn in NV ? What are the best units ?
Randy is a nice guy. Brother Hunter! Antelope and no tripod!?
I enjoy your videos. I drew unit 12-14 Nevada pronghorn this year. I hope to get a monster
That should be fun. Good luck.
why not the longer bi pod that i use that extend to a sitting shot?
What was the range of the shots that missed? The one that hit?
Three times the charm. I always say better a clean Miss then a dirty hit. Great antelope. Congratulations. Which caliber did you use? Bullet?
Randy Newberg, is the check engine light on already in your brand new truck...???
What caliber and scope did you use?
They tend to use 7mm-08 or 308.
Funny a B&C buck would be run off by a lesser buck. Guess it goes to show: Size ain't everything in nature.
What unit is this in?
I don't think we'll ever see three shots on the same lope ever again in our life.
This past year I got 2 shots on 2 different days at an ~75" buck. This was before I figured out my rifle was vertical stringing like a mofo for unknown reasons. Still is, and still dunno why.
Not quite 3.....but close. lol
@@MrAcuta73 That had to drive you insane! I only see vertical stringing on some guns if I don't let the barrel cool? Hope you figure it out. You want to know something hard to believe: 40 years hunting big game, and lots of animals, tons of pigs, 10 last year for example, and I've never missed!
When I was a kid hunting wabbits and sqrls it just killed me when I wounded one. So when it came time for deer I just swore me and my gun would be spot on and I'd never take a shot that wasn't a done deal. Seems impossible, but true. My guns are always dialed in and I do practice field condition shooting. Seen a lot if misses and woundings though. Hate that crap. Anyway, maybe you'll get that buck!
@@555Trout My .257Wby has been dead nuts to 800yds since I owned it. It shoots much better than I do. I re-bedded it, re-mounted the scope, etc. At this point I need to send the scope back to Leupold for a checkup as it's one of only a few options remaining. Thankfully the HQ isn't far from me, can probably just drop it off. Western Oregon is suffering a severe lack of gunsmiths these days, but hopefully I can find someone to give her a once-over.
@@MrAcuta73good luck. Can be so frustrating.
Why y'all always wait to the last day?
0:25 saying how hot it is, yet wearing a long sleeve and vest....
I highly reapect your videos, BUT you must do some shooting training. You are shooting animals, and if you are not comfortable with your riffel, go training. If you are not comfortable with the longer distance, go training or dont shoot. Where I come from, its just not good enough and there are no excuses!!! Its about hunting etics and respect for animals and nature.
