- If its got a motor and some wheels im in! So today we are comparing Mini Bikes to Dirt Bikes. Dirt bikes obviously take the win for Power and many other areas. But do you really need to 80mph in dirt? Do you even know somewhere you can do that? Well mini bike can be easily modded to hit 60mph on the road and 50mph trails, made to haul equipment and even legalized for the road in some states. In others we just ask the cops how they feel about it before taking risks haha!!!

Just the video I asked for. Half way through and liked. Took my Coleman ct200u-ex with TC into the Texas hill country where SxS, dirt bikes, and super jeeps roam. Damn hard riding but we made it.
I was thinking if my 230 butt should have gone with the dirt bike as my back is a lil sore.

thank you! And yeah those ct200s can definitely get it moving! Don't know what mods you have but for torque for can do quite a bit, aluminum weights in the drive gear and a 60tooth rear gear will do wonders for hills and dirt! And here is the phone mount link:)

@@lifeoffline2248 I run a 30 series tc, 10tooth front, 50t rear sprocket. Never heard of the weights, thanks for the tip.
The yellow spring keeps the driven Pulley open longer, delaying full impingement and utilizes more rpm to create torque. The green spring drops the belt earlier and is best for top speed. You'd do better with a 10t/54t Yellow Spring combo if you want to go fast but not lose torque.

Sometimes I wonder if I should of gone with a dirt bike but in the midwest the used prices are nutty and they usually have issues. Then I ride my minibike and realize its more than enough for what I do - yard, trails, and back road.. nothing serious and thats ok with me. Slap an 18+ HP engine in one, beef up the suspension and you have something thats fun while being easy to fix/maintain. Big plus for me, I could buy 3-4 of them for the cost of a dirt bike so I can ride with my kids. Simple lawnmowers with two wheels - if you arent doing wild courses then I dont think youd get much out of a dirt bike however Ive never owned one either so could be way off.
Yeah that is a great deal especially for the kids. I always wanted something to ride as a kid but never got them. But I do love doing 60+ in the riverbeds and love hitting big jumps. But maintenance is also a lot higher to hahah I gotta do a head rebuild soon and i could just buy a whole nother 212 for the cost of the 450 head.
The used dirt bike prices are insane compared to a brand new mini bike setup.
Mini bike are more fun and less expensive and easier to mod and fix on your own no shop needed
