i was thinking the SAME thing. these guys say exactly what time they are showing up in the 1st movie. why not call them as soon as they entered the house. the phone lines were down most of the time but he obviously called later that night.

Ok so the two loves of my life are Taylor Swift and Christmas. I did not get to see The Eras Tour in cinemas but I have watched it three times in my living room while my entire house looks like a literal Christmas tree farm; lights, villages, stockings, a manger, snowmen, candles that smell like pine, Santa, reindeer, nutcrackers, a massive tree covered in tinsel and ornaments, you name it. I think The Eras Tour is now officially a Christmas movie to me and I have never felt happier! 😁🎁🎄❄️
I wonder why no one's ever made a Christmas in Australia movie where it's sunny and hot and they get into summer Christmas shenanigans. I'd definitely watch. Netflix has a few other holidays bangers like "Single All the Way" and "Love Hard."

hey ally! My favorite Christmas movie is National lampoons Christmas vacation. It was my dads favorite movie, and ever since he passed away my mom and I watch it together on Christmas Eve. We cry, laugh, and smile together. I hope you have a good Christmas!

Yes great movie but the year it came out, we saw it in theater only a few months after losing my grandma. My whole family was a sobbing mess. I haven't really watched it since. So definitely a warning.

omg, I love the idea of house swapping 🤩 a summer christmas would definitely be well outside the comfort zone, but i could certainly be persuaded haha - in turn, we have snowy mountain peaks all around, christmas lights and decorations up in all the streets, christmas markets full of mulled wine, hot chocolate and sweet treats everywhere here in Salzburg, Austria, plus a pretty good view of the fortress and the new year's fireworks

The Family Stone is one of my favorite Christmas movies! You have to watch. Will warn that there is a story line about the loss of a parent- but I adore the cast and the hectic family of it all.

I feel so validated by your love for The Holiday and Love Actually!! My all-time fave Christmas movie has to be White Christmas though - it's so wholesome and delightful. Also Muppets Christmas Carol is my go-to Christmas Eve movie with my husband now. The new Grinch movie is actually really good! Watched it recently and will definitely watch it again next year!

I loved this! My favorite Christmas tradition is seeing the nutcracker. I have been doing it with my mom since I was a kid. My favorite Christmas movies are Home Alone and Rudolph The Red Nosed reindeer. ( I also love all the charlie brown movies, because my mom grew up on them too.) Funny story I could never like fully watch the Grinch till I was 13 ( original version) because I was deathly afraid of him LOL.

It’s a Christmas rom con about a stuck-up business man getting a glimpse of what his life would be like if he hadn’t left his girlfriend for work. It is DEFINITELY my favorite Christmas movie, and may be one of my favorites of all time. I think you would love it!!

my dad's side of the family is predominantly Swedish, so we make a huge smorgasbord dinner and watch It's A Wonderful Life every year on Christmas Eve, it's one of my favorite traditions so I have a lot of love for that movie. TW for the main character having some brief suicidal ideation, but it has such an incredible message. The black and white and transatlantic accents also have huge nostalgia value for me lmao

I’ve been wanting to rewatch Unaccompanied Minors I remember liking it but I don’t have HBO anymore, so we’ll see. Also i love that you have both Unaccompanied Minors and Four Christmases on here deep cuts. My opinion as a super fan of The Family Stone is that everyone should watch it, but I should warn you that there is some very sad situations in it that might hit really hard.
Miracle on 34th Street is one of my absolute favorites, Ally! I hope you give it a rewatch. Also White Christmas is SO good.

Hi Ally, greetings from Czech Republic 🙂❤️🇨🇿 we unfortunately, at the place where I live (near Prague) have really non Christmas weather this year, it’s raining and super windy and it’s not about to get any better in folowing days 😔 Our tradition is that we have dinner on Crhistmas day, we open presents after dinner (not the folowing morning) and after that my personal tradition is watching our classic czech christmas movie called “Pelíšky” (Cosy Dens in English) I think every second czech person knows it from word to word already, haha! On the 25th we have lunch with our extended family ☺️ anyways, thank you for great video, glad to see some of my other favorites! 😍

Hi Ally, Merry Christmas! I hope your day has been alright and you're gearing up for lots of naps and chilling in the week between Christmas and New Years! There are 2 movies I think you would enjoy but were missing from your list, the first one you mentioned and it's The Family Stone. That is in my top 3 Christmas/Holiday movies and I could watch it any time of the year, but it hits most around Christmas. :) It will probably hit you kind of hard the first time you watch it and the second time b/c you'll pick up on different things you missed the first watch through, but it is seriously so good. The cast is wonderful!
The second one is Noelle with Anna Kendrick. It's more of Christmas Spirit and inspiring people to believe and hope. It's cute, most likely it's a Minor Sleigh but worth at least one watch :)

The movies I would recomend are the orginal animated how the grinch stole christmas, it's a wonderful life and maybe the orginal miracle on 34th street. The grinch has always been a favorite of mine, it's silly and lovely and the nonesense songs are amazing. It's a wonderful life is almost the definition of christmas for me, it's a journey and i'm not going to lie it's a little long and seems slow, but it's so worth it and it is the christmas eve movie in our family. Lastly the original miracle on 34th is a fun, heartwarming, slightly rom-com christmas movie and it's one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing your recomendations and Merry Christmas!

RE: Christmas traditions: The thing is that my birthday is on Christmas, so growing up was a mixed bag of experiences and definitely taught me to carve out pockets of time to actually celebrate it amidst everything else. We'd do a gift for my birthday at the time I was born in the morning, and then after Christmas dinner before dessert, we'd do birthday cake first. As I've gotten older and moved farther away from my family, I don't really get to celebrate with them much (and obviously friends are usually busy with their own families). Usually my spouse and I go out for a nice dinner the day of, but that's about it. The further I get into my 30s, though, the more I want to be reclaiming this time for myself (I also work in an industry that makes it hard to take time off at this time of year), so perhaps that's a little New Year's resolution for me, to plan something more festive and fun for next year.

i’m a lover of christmas with the kranks, when you watch the character development of uh i forget any of the names from that movie THE GUY PLAYED BY TIM ALLEN, you watch as he goes from self centered, uncaring for those around in the neighborhood, to eventually having an act of kindness towards the end. it doesn’t feel like unrealistic character development because he surely isn’t perfect after, but you get to watch him step in the right direction. also the christmas song at the beginning is my new favorite christmas song as of this year for some reason it just hits my soul
