For those in the comments who said their shape/line is still shown in pixel, t's because Photoshop works in pixel. I tested exporting the file as pdf and in the pdf the shape/line is vector, not pixel. So Photoshop seems to save the information but can't display it somehow. I don't know if there are any settings for changing that, but just so you know, the information is there.

Great Work! I'm guessing this is what happens to all vector layers, they get automatically converted to have solid colour.. also would like to know what the button is called with white and black circle :? as what is really happening is the path that's been drawn out under vector is being filled within the path 'shape' or path stencil/perimeter.

the brush strokes themselves create the outlines for the new vectored shapes. it wont auto-interpret the alpha of the paper, though you could edit the image so that you isolate that particular shape and cut away the rest, then proceed with the above steps in the video.

use the magic wand tool to select the colors instead of "color range", use any selection tool, right click over the selection, and in the drop down menu, "make work path" for each of the colors, Fill them using the method shown with "solid color". When done with all colors, File, Export, Export As or possibly you can use save as, but I exported as SVG

You can use any method to select the colors or portions of the image. I had one letter that was red, so after selecting the majority of the image, "solid color", and black for the rest of the image, I used the wand to select the one letter "A", then selected the "solid color" and made that one letter red. Once done with all the different colors, File, Export, Export As, I used SVG

Even though this is a few years old. It was still a bit helpful. Although, it was hard to understand at times because you go too fast. Also, if this is a tutorial based channel, you should really try to explain it a bit better. Please, maybe one day, update this? Or add closed caption with a better explanation on how or what you did in parts to make it more easier to follow? Thank you though for making this!
