Does your raster image have multiple colors? Try this way to vectorize your image in Photoshop! czcams.com/video/6LmvvO69sGg/video.htmlsi=c3AHDXiRobALU8ZH

For more complex images (with more colors):
Group and Merge as much things as you can to reduce number of layers. Then, for each layer repeat Clammmy's scenario (select image from layers section with Ctrl > Make work path (Marquee Tool) > Direct selection tool > create vector mask). After these operations, you should have few layers linked corresponding work path/vector. Now just save as .ESP and that should be it. Colored vectorized image.
Thank you Clammmy Creations for this tutorial, you saved me many hours!

Just giving a heads up, the latest Photoshop you have to SAVE AS COPY to get the menu to allow you to save as different formats. This changed in a recent update. I am using Photoshop 24.6 in year 2023 - and If you are missing SVG format from Export as option after the Photoshop 22.5 update then, go to Photoshop > Preferences > Export > Enable "Use legacy Export As" option > restart Photoshop. You should start seeing the SVG format under Export as option.

This isn't going to work for a lot of raster images. This one works because the twitch logo used is clean, and high-res. Take something designed at the resolution needed, with edges not created with the path tool (as this logo was) and watch how the path tool goes mental. I wish it was coded to better understand the image, but in our experience, work pathing hasn't been very viable, sadly.

I know this comment was from 3 years ago, but do you think this would work better with images with higher dimensions on google. For example, would an image with the dimensions of 2000 x 2000 work better on this program than say an image with the dimension 250 x 250??

eps = Encapsulated PostScript. and as we remember from Font class that PostScript was designed by IBM (?) to convert digital text into printed text. Vector made it saleable and made for relatively small files making for the ability to store many fonts on one storage device as well as providing a means to transfer a particular font along with the file to be printed on the same media. Remember back in the day there were no Tera or Giga byte drives and such. thing was measured in KB and mb. Thanks for the heads up on this one, I guess I wasn't paying attention in PS class like i should have.
