The random kindness of some convicted criminals staying in a remote location that's booked in a fake name always gives me more faith in humanity. Handing out fresh bath towels, cigarettes and giving you free reign to use other peoples stuff while they are asleep, shows even the worst types of criminals are capable of reform. They must have been truly gutted when their respected guest mysteriously vanished after such unfathomable kind hospitality. The world can be so beautiful and cruel all at the same time!
Bless the minds of innocent impressionable kids who believe a village cafe owner, an airbnb host, the police and mountain rescue are all engaged in a conspiracy with some tourists who befriended an entire group days earlier just to unalive a 19 year old for some reason and cover it up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Me and the lads literally just got back from Tenerife where the locals are all pretty certain he muled a bunch of gear onto the island. He’s either used it, lost it, or sold it himself and has faced the consequences. No locals seemed at all surprised and most people seemed to think that the Spanish police don’t really want the English involved as it opens a can of worms that would expose most of the island which, let’s face it, is basically an economy dependant on tourism and the drug trade. Seemed to me that this is a common occurrence just this time it’s an English kid.
How much "gear" did you hoop over there? What's the biggest you've keystered? How do you and the lads practice and prepare for that? Finger action? Tongue swirls? Veggies? Matt you dirty lad. Listen, you'll probably be a man one day; don't put your nasty habits on line for your kids and grandkids to read later. Unless you intend to be a party "hooper" forever!
Either of those three means when Jay's been asked he doesn't have it. It fits with my theory he's been dealt with by the beach near the nightclub rave whatever,he's either injured to make him take notice or he's slowly bleeding out. He's taken to the bnb. His mate(s) are informed. A plan is hatched. Jay wants hell out of there. Guys responsible for what he's lost turn up. Everyone incriminated and decided to cast a plan of alibi.

A 19 yr old who apparently wants to carry on partying, leaves the party town, doesn't look for a house party or late bar. He instead choses to go with a fella he would consider old to the middle of nowhere. Total bull.
That doesn’t seem too nonsensical to me honestly, I’ve been 19 out drinking and ended up meeting people I’ve never met before who might have been older but they’re sound and we just continued after the clubs shut, it’s not that crazy of a story, not saying it’s the one that happened but acting like 19 year olds would never do that is crazy
MSM don’t want to glamorise what Jays involved in by telling the lost generation about how easy it is to make money being a criminal which is a good thing not to show

In my opinion... All the ones involved in Jay's disappearance are getting the stories in order for the media. Next week, a close friend will remember something vital or a message they forgot to share.
Yeah but they way the media work they love to distract and draw people in so they are bound to give people little drips of info to keep their attention going, but yes agree with you
Whether it's connected to the drugs or the stolen watch, he's messed up somehow . Wouldn't be surprised if he's been bumped off and his friends know it, but are trying to cover it up . Maybe they fear their own safety if they were to make a statement naming the people that killed him . The more facts that are coming out , the more dodgey it sounds 😒
Finally, a concise video with facts layed out for us to ponder rather than conspiracy theories being shoved down our throats…. and you have the balls to say he was a wrong ‘un. 👏
The UK is full of young lads who wear balaclavas routinely, carry blades and get involved in petty criminality and get a sense of invulnerability from it. I suspect Slater is one of them (plus a machete gang attack) and has taken his "village in Lancashire" attitude abroad where things are a bit different.
Even in a little tourist town in Majorca you need to be careful who you fuck with. A lot of the Moroccans and Gitanos have tentacles everywhere especially when it comes to the drugs trade
Doing wrong when you are a kid and know you are going to get the wrath of your parents is what sets you on the right path. It is exactly that what turns people most of the time into good enough adults. If you don’t get chastised by your parents you don’t know wrong from right.
What a load of bullshit, the lad who grew up in my area getting a smack of his dad, got a life sentence for killing him.... Yeah getting the wrath of his dad really made him turn out into a golden citizen didn't it 😂
Psychologically it's easy to presume your statement is true yet there's zero statistics to back up the fact if a child comes from a good or bad background that they will follow the same path. This means people can be great parents and still have "born bad" kids
That lad being interviewed is clearly either still on drugs or not long since had some. Clear gurning, chewing gum to help stop it, can't sit still or keep eye contact and difficult to show sad emotions. Textbook.

So first they said he went back to the airbnb because he wanted to continue partying, but now they’re saying he went back because he lost his hotel key and his friends left him so he couldn’t get into his room. Which one is it? And if it’s the second one, why would you rather drive 1 hour away/12 hour walk away with random strangers that are 10+ years old than you and convicted criminals rather than just go to your hotel and try to get back into your room? If that was me, I’d make my way back to the room and see if any staff there could help me out. He’s been staying there for 3 days at this point. It wasn’t an airbnb he was staying at with Lucy and Brad but a hotel, WITH STAFF ON HAND 24/7. Some members of staff must recognise him. Plus he was at a rave, he must have had ID on him or he wouldn’t be allowed in. He could have showed ID to staff in the reception of the hotel and they’d be able to check this against the ID on the room and let him in with a master key no? Or even if that wouldn’t work, isn’t making your way up to the room and banging on the door to see if Brad/Lucy wake up a safer bet than going so far with random criminals almost twice your age? Heck I’d even rather sleep on the floor of the hotel reception …. But I guess I just think differently tho 😅
People need to realise that apart from everything you just the convicted criminal thing can’t be held against him how tf would you know if someone is a convicted criminal lmao

The men take Jay into the mountains make him phone Lucy and tell her the story of being out of battery and thirsty giving the police somewhere false to start looking. In the meantime they take him miles in the other direction to do him in or maybe hand him off to the people he's pissed off ( for whatever reason) with the same outcome. But great analysis of the facts X

absolute nonsense u really think they would leave any significant amount of drugs just lying about for him to steal, enough to kill over with all the hassle that brings, youre deluded
The police would surely have the phone companies look up the GPS info from their phones to see where they went en route to the airport. Or if their phones happened to be off between leaving the air bnb and arriving at the airport or wherever, that would be weird too. They'd also be able to tell how much charge the phone actually had when it was turned off and back on again as there's a memory for that too. Police aren't that daft, it would be ideal if that stuff revealed what happened but it likely didn't as the guys are still free
U know that snap pic of him outside the air BnB having a cig, they could've held him from the back and took that pic to make it look like he's alive taking a snap 😮

He was running away from someone or something, went offroad to avoid being captured. They caught up with him, found him, murdered him and threw him off a cliff to make it look like an accident. He was involved in the drug scene and got mixed up with some really dangerous characters.

There's no way he'd caused anyone serious enough in the drug scene enough grief for them to cause that much noise at his age. You survive in that world by keeping quiet... maybe if they were stupid and fresh to the scene, but then they'd be unlikely to pull it off without leaving obvious traces. Unfortunately this going lad was probably addled from the drugs, low on smarts, and lost his life completely unnecessary. Bit of a Darwin award contender tbh, sad but more likely to be true than some wild and distracting conspiracy
Hit the nail on the head! Exactly same questions here: If you are friend why cover your face for interview? Why GoFundMe page? There's so many missing people everyday unfortunately, yet these set up page with specific target. Where the money will go? If your battery is on 1% surely you wouldn't be able to send location, make a phone call, send snapchat etc. Why not call taxi? Why would the woman who is local and see him walking in wrong direction didn't stop offer a lift or told him that 'mate you need to walk other way'? Was the bus drivers interviewed who are driving that route incase they have seen him walking? Why 2 men was not interviewed? Why no one really looking into footage from the beach? If his other friend said that the drive was 50min then there should be a different location for the search area. Why refuse help from UK police? Is local police hiding something? I'm not gonna say much about parents, but if my child would go missing i wouldn't care if I have experience in search or if it's dangerous - I would be out searching. No one could stop me from doing it. 99% it will be a documentary one day Probably forgot something but yes more questions than answers.
Lol you made me laugh so hard several times already with how blunt you are and i'm only halway through hahaha 'how can u show emotion if u dont show your f**kin face', 'chewing his gum and smiling straight up weird mate' and 'yeah just leave him we'll enjoy our holiday' were probably my favs so far 😂😂 so on point I salute u dude 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I lived in Tenerife ironically when I was 19 working in the timeshare industry. I worked for gangsters and the island was run by gangsters as well. This was over 25 years ago and John (goldfinger) Palmer was the main man then. Obviously now that he’s dead it’s another criminal network. Even when I was there I heard stories of young people my age doing the job I was doing going missing and then being washed up on the beaches. Because they “broke the rules”. I was young but streetwise and never naive to my situation out there and I never fucked with the people I worked for or even worse, their competitors. From what you have documented, this mug has fucked with the wrong people, case closed. Fact. I would bet my house on it. The old bill are bought and paid for so there’s no proper investigation. If my friend was asleep in another room, and some relative stranger needed to use his charger, I'd go in there myself, not send the guy you've just met in there (in the dark?) to find it for himself, and probably wake him up and look like he's potentially stealing from him. You'd have to be really out of it or an exceptionally carefree person. I wouldn't even send another friend in there, if he didn't live in the place too.

well if he so called used the guys charger in the bedroom and arrived at his house after 5am and left after 8am you would think Jays phone would be fully charged within 3 hours max or at least three quarters charged, he would hardly have used up all his battery between 8.00am and 8.30am by make 2 calls or one text and one video call to Brad the friend and him saying his phone was on 1 per cent, the time line on the so called phone being charged up doesnt make sense, needs to be looked into, clue there already as it takes 3 hours to charge an iphone fully, 50% charged every 30 minutes thus allowing it to cool down a bit after 50% charged as that guy says they went to bed straight when they all reached the cottage, thus allowing 3 hours to charge his phone, so those friends are caught out in their lies, strong evidence there already.
That short Cctv footage you shown paints the picture for me, sounded like Lucy Mae witnessed the murder, maybe she had him meet up with somebody but didn't realise they would kill him. the location of the phone last ping is a complete red herring also.
At the time, the police was looking for a missing person as he was reported as such by his friend Lucy. Why would the police assume that a crime or homicide has occurred? Tourists get lost in Tenerife every few weeks, it's not like its a new thing around here. Unless the police has a suspicion of some crime having been committed, on what grounds do you and everyone else on this track of thinking suggest that the police should HOLD someone from returning home from their holiday?? I don't quite understand? Is there a netfhits crime series where the law has been perverted to such degree that the police does that fictionally and therefore people think its real or what? Please explain yourselves, because i don't know how you go about the thought of looking for a reported missing person to a sudden suspicion of homicide or something similar?
@@hsk2909 well my thinking is that his story was flimsy at best and after the 48 hour mark most missing people cases end up turning into murder investigations right? Simply put, nobody within the case is an independent witness. Ophelia knows Ayub she owns the bnb he was staying in, and they possibly might have met before or have common links. Brad knows Ayub. Lucy knows Ayub. Ayubs friend who knows. All were in contact, or close enough to concoct an alibi. All had the same story, but rather than being strangers all happen to be connected.
I always thought it was weird that the Air B N B guy immediately started talking about Jay leaving his accommodation "alive" when that wasn't even the question.

Oh this happened to me when my daughter vanished during a day out! I literally blinked and she was gone. I was in a docks area where thousands of tourists were - she was 7 at the time and oblivious to her surroundings. Honestly my body was shaking so violently with adrenaline and fear and I just started shouting her name. It felt like an eternity of looking for her and then I saw her in the crowd of people and she was crying. I’ve never felt so much relief in my life. I didn’t know wether to hug her or tell her off for running away. I ended up just grabbing her and holding her and we were both crying. She’s never left my side again and I still think about how different it could have been.

How so, drug using possibly dealing going missing after using possibly selling drugs or buying, isn't at all surprising. His friend is clearly drugged up while having his interview. 🤦🏻♂️

Suspicious is not even sufficient to ring all the bells. The last thing to enter anyone's mind is to take time to fill out details for this system. The eyes, watch the eyes of the mother and what we see there is a blank look that has no compassion, and how she is seeking to make herself to appear concerned, and not worried to death. The eyes tell it all being the windows of the soul. The father has just a blank stare, and where possible refuses to look into the camera, guilt with him
This Jonny Vegas’s statement via Mark Williams Thomas’s second public post is fabricated obviously. He’s mentioned the “trainers”. How many people reversing a car notice that a person is wearing trainers & think “oh he’s wearing a pair of trainers” ? JV has mentioned that because it relates to the last Snap Chat Jay sent from the AirBnB (trainers under the blanket). Also in that Snap chat Jay’s holding a cigarette. So JV had to mention a “cigarette”, a “blanket” & lastly a “IPhone charger”. JV knew it’s been publicised that Jay’s phone had 1% battery charge .. so JV had to mention the “IPhone charger” didn’t he ? All this detail from JV fits in with the publicised details. The only thing he didn’t mention which has been publicised is the “Rolex / AP watch” … how odd 🤔
@@DarrenMac-yk2gd To be fair, we don't have an actual transcription of what he said, only the a summary Mark Williams has given to the public. What happened: Jay and his mates go on holiday and while they're there, they get dealt some gear by "Lucy" and maybe some other mule mates of hers. Jay gets talking to Lucy and she says she can get him in on dealing while they're on holiday, if he's up for making a grand or two. Jay goes to the AirBnB where he meets the two dealers, and while he's there he sees a watch/drugs/cash and thinks 'f**k it' and pilfers it and leaves the AirBnB. He calls his mates to tell them he's on his way, and gets off the main road so if the dealers come after him, they can't track him. He's calling his mates and tells them what he's done - whether they think it was a smart idea or not is up to their character. At some point, he realises he's messed up and nicking a watch or some gear was not a good idea. He calls Lucy and tries to negotiate a civil handover of the watch/gear and she tells him to send her his location. Now! Either she sends the message over to the dealers who come to meet him and that's where he is thrown and killed, or more likely Jay does lose his footing and falls. The dealers find him and retrieve whatever he stole, and they leave his body. Why is his mate laughing? It's a nervous laugh. Kid is on TV being interviewed over a very dangerous and criminal matter, he's gonna be nervous. Why did they call the police? Well, the realised Jay was missing and naturally they reported it, but when it came to "what was he doing when he went missing?" the mates realised as well that he was doing something he shouldn't with people you don't want to name and shame. The ball is already rolling, so everyone who knows anything are just spinning wheels with vague stories. That's what I think, anyway.
The fact he’s went into the off road terrain suggests to me he’s 100% wanted to avoid being seen / found by those 2 guys. The CZcamsr “tearsofaclown01” has some interesting theories on this case. I forget the videos and their names but for sure he isn’t afraid to give his honest opinion and everything he says is plausible. Regardless very interesting case.
Or to avoid anyone who might be after him. This going off road business is certainly very important. If he'd stayed on the formal road, in either direction, he wouldn't have got lost and he'd have come across another bus stop.

Apparently his crew were street dealers (the lowest on the food chain). I reckon he was trying to live up to being a gangsta, got caught thieving money or drugs, and the suppliers dealt with him.
When I was 18 I was mugged (non violent) twice in 2 weeks in Tenerife. The first time someone said they might be able to get my wallet back as it was a Morrocan guy. The other time was a few days later on a scooter by 3 lads who were driving the other way. Las Americas and Los Cristianos are so dodgy. I imagine the Police know what happened.
Do NOT forget about the watch. A man that is connected to a criminal circle owning a real Rolex usually shows how he makes his money. Drug dealers do what they do for either: A - money, or B - dopamine. A young punk comes in and tries to take a very expensive watch from potentially someone involved in the drug trade. That's a lot of money on that watch. The last thing you do to a drug dealer, is steal from them. It won't EVER end well

I haven't actually been following this story at all so knew nothing about it other than he was missing. Rarely do I watch an entire almost 30 minute long CZcams video but this fantastic story telling Geordie, as good as a Netflix drama!
This Lucy set him up probably to give back the watch, that’s why she says she’s sorry, and says “you said he wouldn’t get stabbed.”So she had already spoken to the person looking for jay. So she was there when he got stabbed. I also think the guy saying “I haven’t got 2 seconds” is the killer. I reckon jay has said “give me two seconds” and that pissed the killer off. If she didn’t know these guys how did she phone their place. And do yo know who found his broken glasses?
But if he died then (at dark) then who was the person the neighbour spoke to on the morning if it wasn't jay ? I think your theory is true . But this would mean the neighbour never spoke to Jay atall. Has the neighbour actually said she spoke to Jay? Has she spoken atall?
Spot on recap. One of the last people to see Jay alive is a known drug dealer who runs a drug cafe on the island and the police don't think he's worth keeping around the question? 100% those cops are on the take. There's been talk that Lucy Mae is a drug mule, this was just Jays first rodeo and it went horribly wrong.
First of all let me inform you about Spanish law instead of attributing any crimes to them. Probably Spanish police has way much integry than yours. My father was a Guardia Civil and Spain is a democracy so they cannot retain anyone unless they charge them with something. 6 hours is the maximum for a person to give an statement and then they have to let them go unless there are criminal charges or terrorism suspicions but then the judge has to agree on that.
The amount of little details offered about him coming back to the Airbnb (sleeping arrangement, cigarette brand, etc) make it pretty obvious it’s bullshit if it wasn’t already.
Lucy didn't show her face, despite the fact she gave her name and we could hear her voice. I find that odd but even moreso the fact that the BB owner never showed her face either. 😮
@@lilac9639not strange at all when it’s obvious she’s a dealer look into the amount of times she’s been abroad in a year. Why would she want to show her face not giving her any respect whatsoever tho

@kerriwightman3141 not really, it's quite common. Bodies sink initially. Later, they decompose and release gases that make them float. Decomposition time is longer in winter because of the cold, so it took several weeks for her to rot and float to the surface. This happens with lots of bodies in water - they are found quite some time later by random people.

I went to Tenerife, to a weed cafe. You have to press the buzzer, you say someone’s name, you then go through a fully padlocked security door, into another one, you say another persons name and they then let you in. You go in and there is 30 people on all different tables sniffing cocaine, smoking weed freely like nothing is wrong, in a completely private place, fully locked and secured like a prison. They are on every single corner in Tenerife.
Sniffing cocaine in the cafes? I’ve never seen it. They’re not on every corner. There’s a few in and around playa las americas and los Cristianos. To say they’re on “every single corner” is a massive exaggeration.

So first they said he went back to the airbnb because he wanted to continue partying, but now they’re saying he went back because he lost his hotel key and his friends left him so he couldn’t get into his room. Or even if that wouldn’t work, isn’t making your way up to the room and banging on the door to see if Brad/Lucy wake up a safer bet than going so far with random criminals almost twice your age? well if he so called used the guys charger in the bedroom and arrived at his house after 5am and left after 8am you would think Jays phone would be fully charged within 3 hours max or at least three quarters charged, he would hardly have used up all his battery between 8.00am and 8.30am by make 2 calls or one text and one video call to Brad the friend and him saying his phone was on 1 per cent, the time line on the so called phone being charged up doesnt make sense, needs to be looked into, clue there already as it takes 3 hours to charge an iphone fully, 50% charged every 30 minutes thus allowing it to cool down a bit after 50% charged as that guy says they went to bed straight when they all reached the cottage, thus allowing 3 hours to charge his phone, so those friends are caught out in their lies, strong evidence there already.

That being said what kind of friends 15 minutes drive away dont hop in a taxi and come right to your location, within 20-30 minutes. Even if he had to hide off road tell them when you hear a car pull up in about 20-30 minutes, that will be us.
What happened:
Jay and his mates go on holiday and while they're there, they get dealt some gear by "Lucy" and maybe some other mule mates of hers.
Dude he never walked off; the woman, Lucy and brad have been told what to say by Ayub and he threw the phone off a cliff
Jay's probably been eaten by pigs or at the bottom of the ocean

jay escaped when the neighbour knocked the door went off road to hide until the bus was due lucy got jay to ping his location then sent that info str8 to ayub quasim and thats the end of that

Las Americas and Los Cristianos are so dodgy. I imagine the Police know what happened.
Do NOT forget about the watch. A man that is connected to a criminal circle owning a real Rolex usually shows how he makes his money. @@drummingtildeath Still quite strange how it was a member of the public who found her in the end.
@@drummingtildeath Quite rightly pointed out. I'm a diver as I'm guessing you are. It was just odd to me considering where she was found etc how they missed her. Anyway, hopefully they find Jay 🙏
Blimey. This is a quality post. Well researched and brilliantly narrated. So many loose ends here, thanks for the honest, no BS structure.
He's crossed the wrong person and met his maker, rest in peace jay....
yep sounds bout right, something about jay stealing a rolex on showing this on snapchat. Dont fuck with the bigger gansters.
😂😂😂
Rest in pieces 😂

More like Rest in Piss.
Wow! This breakdown makes the most sense and reason by far compared to any other theories or speculation I’ve seen elsewhere. Fair play.
Narcissist mother raises an antisocial criminal kid, tale as old as time, song as old as crime.
💯
I think that's the most profound thing I've heard today 👌
I think people should be cautious judging people they don't know . No mother wants her child killed . The truth is we don't know what happened to him
Narcissist? Simply parents who don't teach right and wrong, acceptable behaviour, consequences to your actions and boundaries are those who raise idiot kids.
I wonder what the fathers like
They'll never find him, he's been taken care of and buried out in that wilderness ... an impossible task to find him.
cant bury people in that terrain the ground is rock solid
@@danielcrane3648 We are turned to focus upon the area. In the boot of a car and carried to an area where it is possible to bury the body, or maybe in yesterdays meat pies
@@danielcrane3648Trust me there’s places away from that area to bury a body, probably opposite place to the phones ping
More likely dumped in the ocean. Burying him would’ve been risky considering the dogs used in the search
@@dougaldouglas8842 at sea would be most likely.
It’s situations like these that make me realise how posh and privileged I am. What a scary and dangerous world we live in. I’m grateful that I’m not involved in stuff like this
not being involved in this stuff does not mean you are posh and priviledged, it means you have comnon sense and are a decent person. being posh n priveledged is something else, such as buying a rolex the legal way..stealing a rolex n being don e for viciously kicking/ hitting someone is not the behaviour of a decent person
@@mooncatandberyl5372 perhaps. But I mean I’m from Surrey in the uk. And people have always called me posh etc and I’ve never really thought I was, I mean I live in a council house. However I’m not exposed to stuff like this, so even if I wanted to get involved with that scene it would be hard to. Like I said I’m very grateful to be brought up in a safer area.
@@branaldinho i use to live in a council flat on a housing estate in a seemingly middle class county of england., there are always plenty of drug dealers, drug addicts, and other illegal activites even on the nicer housing estates , ive had several friends whom have died from their addictiions or become skitzophrenic from drug addiction or turned to drug dealing to fund their own drug addiction or have serious life long physical conditions as a result of drug addiction, but ive not chosen that for myself, my view is its very easy to become an addict or a dealer and ive known people from very middle class backgrounds become addicts n dealers. even if an erea seems posh or middle class it still has workibg class poskets. who is calling you posh n priviledged when you live in a council house? surrey may seem middle class but it still has council estates just like anywhere in the UK. Just because you have a southern accent or live in surrey does not mean you are posh n priveledged. you have pointed that out for yourself by stating that you live in a council house. dont let others manipulate or brainwash you.
If you live in a council house you're not posh 😂 You were probably just raised to know right from wrong like most people 👍🏼

Sound awful
Sniffing cocaine in the cafes? I’ve never seen it. They’re not on every corner. There’s a few in and around playa las americas and los Cristianos. To say they’re on “every single corner” is a massive exaggeration.
@@uncontrollable343they are not public ‘cafes’ I’m referring to the vocab used in this video. They are around las Americas specifically. Which again is where we are talking about here. The drug trade in Tenerife is massive, and if you don’t agree your deluded
