Yep! I have been too independent... Hard habit to break. I think I have been single too long, and disappointed too many times, and don't want to be let down so I just keep it moving and if someone comes along it is all good and if not it is still all good....
That’s exactly how I was for 11 years, it’s definitely hard to slide back into the feminine energy and allow some vulnerability. I’ve now decided to step out into the world of dating and it doesn’t matter if I get hurt along the way , I’m not scared anymore

I like what you have to say Bern - and many excellent insights that I appreciate!
BUT - I think you should talk about what we can expect men to bring to the table. Maybe at least describe these 'high-quality men better. Or explain what would be a reasonable set of expectations for us to have. And maybe you have, but I'd like to hear you touch on it in every video.
Especially here I was reminded why I stopped listening to you a couple of years ago (and yes, I'm still single by choice, but I'd like to expand my life experience now to include at least more dating)
It seems to me that in your coaching, the overwhelming burden for 'managing' the relationship falls on the woman/ That you *are*, in fact, suggesting that she either change or edit herself considerably. And there is little to no hint even of how we can expect these 'quality men' to meet us in the endeavor.
I mean, just look at one of your thumbnail titles, "He will likely propose - if you meet *these* needs." And then the actual video is a listicle of *seven* needs the woman must meet. And the reciprocity of marriage? Sound like old-school legal prostitution to me. What, all a woman wants is to get married and trade sex for financial security for the rest of her life???
What about her actual needs?
I will say this one is excellent: "6 signs he's wasting your time". Hmmm... I think I can find 6 in the 6 or so videos I've watched!

Hey Bern, do you have any suggestions when we burn out, so we can "reset" and be hopeful and available? Would you recommend taking a month off dating? I worry I'll become too independent, and on my male side, and have even less desire for a relationship. I also wonder if many matches on the apps will delete me.

Especially during covid, it seems like online is the best way, but I very rarely have a connection in person. I have started to do the video call dates, which is helpful. It's just so much more efficient to gauge chemistry in real life encounters.
I really need alit of help finding the right man for me. After dealing with a egotistical, cold, man for 15 years, that brings out the worst in me most of the time and makes me feel that I'm always wrong and he's always tight because he's older than me, I don't want to wait seven plus years to be with a man that truly loves me and devoted to me. All my children is with this one man, yet I want to be married and happy. Sometimes I feel that even with my feminine energy being a nurturer and strong, most if today's men are wrong for me because I raised my standards as a woman and mother of five.

Like, do I ignore them following really attractive girls and liking their photos? I'm in a committed relationship what's disrespectful versus harmless? Why does it make me so uncomfortable? I never know what to say without sounding jealous.
What to do wen you've all the good qualities you mentioned but lack that eye catching beauty......🙄
Hi There, I think that beauty ultimately comes down to how you show up for yourself and how radiantly you shine. You can't do much about the DNA you're born with but can work on your posture, your enthusiasm, your feminine expressiveness, your flirting skills, your sleep habits, your nutrition, and your health and the combination of those can make you shine way more than you may have thought possible. I've had the blessing throughout my life to connect with thousands of women, many of them believed they were not attractive enough and they were mistaken. I say focus on radiance vs beauty and you will increase your magnetism.

Ok so Bern you have to know I admire your work and all the thought it appears you put into your conversations with your viewers. But as a woman who is in the field on a daily heres what i have observed men dont have the moxie they used to have period. I am of the opinion that they would rather take snap shots in their minds of women they find attractive to pleasure themselves later, men today are solo many times because they are too cheap to spend the money it takes to go out and get to know a high value woman. Again I have seen this with my own eyes. I have sadly declared a hard stop on dating or the pursuit of a date let alone a relationship for lack of quality, trustworthiness, and lack of class of the men out here. I hate to say it but until the men understand that women are just as valuable in relationships as they are I would not suggest that women keep hoping or spending their valuable time trying to.fix what's not broken. I love men I want a man but at what cost?? Thank you for reading ❤
