I played against Plo with a squadronless fleet and it was bad. It was my first time playing him and I didn't understand how much damage he can do with 2 dice bombers. I always bring a fighter complement in tournaments if only because of Plo and Sloane.

Nice format. :-) Thought I miss the end-of-round status displays Ion Radio uses. :-(
Also, what is it with Recusants? Everytime I've played against one my opponent has run it into short range and been blown apart - just like this battle. With its stats it should really be hanging back with the Munificents.
I’ll have to look into Ion Radio. 🤔 As for your Recusants question, I personally think he ran it far too close considering all the reds it throws. It sure went down fast. Ouch!
I looked at the Radio reports you talked about and am implementing a similar end of round. I'm in the middle of my next video right now, but look for it as I'd be interested in knowing what you think.
What I want to know, is how do you beat plo koon + ACR 170s...

Question... weren't they using accuracies wrong here though, the rerolled ones? If I recall correctly, accuracies that come up from a reroll, haven't they missed their window to trigger?
Can you tell me which instance you are referring to (give me the time stamp)? It’s possible they made a mistake, but there could have been an exception or something. Thanks
@@HoneyBadgerBattleReports I'm a bit new to Armada so I could have misunderstood how it works. I'll see if I can dig up some examples
@@HoneyBadgerBattleReports 28:16, for example, confused me what was happening. Rolls, one accuracy and then decides to bomber command for a reroll, and then adds Plo's accuracy to lock out two defense tokens. That's an example I reacted to, but I guess the end result would be the same, just that seeing it play out that way and remembered the timing when modify die vs spending accuracy happens.
@@HoneyBadgerBattleReports 29:30 too. I'd guess one plays it out like that for convenience? Like I said, still noob so trying to learn tournament play and what goes and doesn't:)
