I don't enjoy watching you in pain, but I do appreciate what you're doing and pushing yourself. 5-6 miles is a drop in the bucket compared to 13+ miles. I cannot advise on supplements for running, but what I will say is you're going to need to invest in some chaffing products (pre and post run) and figure out your camera mounts. On a 5-6 mile run things are 100 times more mild than on a 13+ mile run. Things get hot, wet and more "uncomfortable" than you may be anticipating. Doing multiple 20+ mile runs IN A ROW - do yourself and favor and buy some stuff for chaffing. Use a massage gun, rollers, hot baths, cold showers...etc. You can do it...etc, just up your chances and decrease injury chances (taking you out) and create more manageable pain levels.....no matter what it will be "uncomfortable."
Also, I would recommend a magnesium supplement. My cousin gave me one on a long distance bike ride which were a lifesaver and saved my legs from cramping up.

Probably not the best idea to run on an empty stomach and no water or electrolytes. Please stay hydrated for sure and take a protein bar or two ahead of time. Have breakfast too. It’s so important to eat and drink properly when you’re doing such intense exercise.
