But saying that he has now shown the power he can give and the power he can take back because a lot of those shots would have put most people out and Jiri survived so he has shown his spirit.

Was happy for Glover when he won the belt last Winter. Happy for Yiri as well. Both dudes are champions in my eyes.
Knew this guy was going to be a star when I first saw him fight. Dude looks like a straight warrior from the Viking era and fights like an absolute king.
Insane! I saw this dude at the la fitness I go to like 3 months ago in Scottsdale. Spoke with him for a good a minute very genuine guy. no one knew who he was. Now look at him what a fuckin legend!

I was thinking the same. Sonny deserved to be wellcomed, he was a tremendous boxer with a vicious jab and he ruled the heavyweight division like a boss.

I mean the guy is a great fighter and has a heart of gold and seems like a genuinely nice person but he has made way to many mistakes in the title fight it was just fortunate glover made a bigger mistake towards the end. I honestly don't think he will be champion for very long and this is a not a biased opinion as I do think he has great potential and seems like a worthy champion

The division isn't very deep
He deserves all the praise for getting the strap, but his real accomplishment is how he inspires so many with his words and actions from leading by example. Glover is the Brazilian version of this guy in that way as well. A crazy war that we must see again, hopefully before Glover's age catches up with him or he retires.
