Started fasting on Monday this year during the month of sawan ( started on 18th july , first Monday of sawan ), and now continuing this every Monday since then. Thought of doing 16 somawari ( just with the purpose of setting a target to keep myself motivated ) , and now i think 12 fasts done, i have decided to continue this throughout my life now ( aadat ho gya ab, and faayda itna dikh ra, body detox feel hone laga isliye ). Infact i am watching this video today after doing 12 fasts , i didn't know that all this detoxification and thing happens or not, but i felt and realized everything said in this video on my own in these last 3 months. In Jainism, we have Das Lakshan Parv of 10 days in the same days when there is Ganesh Chaturthi in Hindus. In these 10 days our maharaj ji and many people also (गृहस्थ) including my mother take nothing but only water and one or 2 dry fruits and milk only 1 time a day for 10 continuous days. No fruits no grains and nothing. And after those 10 days, my mother really feels much energetic and healthy

I hv read a book on fasting around 10 years back ..in that it is writing that some people can not fast ,may be they feel migrane ,dizzy,non energetic because they hv more toxins in their body ..and fasting is removing all that..
If you feel low energy than it means u hv toxins in body ..but slowly slowly u feel much energized .don't stop fasting because of that..jitna hota hai utna karo ..
Anather thing while fasting ,if your mind roams towards food ,then meditate or Aatma ka dhyan karo,ye sharir muzhse alag hai ,main shudh swaroopi aatma hoon

Jain's keep do fasting (उपवास) and some people do 30 days fast called Masakshraman (मासक्ष्रमण). In jain religion fasting is very common and many people do 1, 3, 8, 10,15,16,30 days fast.

Our chhat puja vrat is one of those vrat you are talking about it's a four day fasting session where you have to avoid lasan pyaj in the first day then second day we fast for the whole day and eat only fruits in the evening or wheat roti and chawal kheer if you want then on the third day we didn't eat or drink anything for the whole 24 hours and at last in the 4th day after sun rise worshipping to suryadev we eat our prasad it is almost similar to detox your body gently and beneficially i love my culture and specially chhat puja ❤️ thank you fit tuber for the valuable information which people are forgetting day by day..keep inspiring us to follow a healthy life..

Great video. I would like to add that juice can be an important component of the diet when you are fasting. Juices provide instant and ready nutrients to the body, body doesn't need to work to digest juices. Hence they provide great rest to the digestion. For people with digestive issues, juice fasting is great. To reap the maximum benefits of fasting, it can be combined with plain water enema once or twice a day. If you are juice fasting, you should totally avoid anything from stove, including warm water. Btw, whenever I did a week long juice fasting, my hairloss had totally stopped 😊.
