It's the second day of our Belgium trip, and our first and only full day in Bruges, so we wanted to make the most of it by heading out for Belgian Waffles for breakfast (before remembering Anna couldn't eat them because of her gluten intolerance), so ate one at the side of the street then we all headed to a toast bar called That's Toast so Anna and Andy could eat. We spent the rest of the morning sightseeing around the city, including lots of churches and chocolate shops, before heading back to the hotel so Andy could have a break and recharge. When we headed back out we headed back to Markt Square for some dinner in front of the Belfty again while the sun set.

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 15), Amy (age 13) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

you should stop off in canterbury and go to the cathedral. it’s on the a2 (u have to go past it to get home) i’m sure and will love it
When we went to Belgium with school a couple of years ago we walked round war memorials all day and it was about 37 degrees. We left the hotel at 7am and arrived back at 10pm. Loads of kids got heat stroke and we had to leave a day early. We did go to the Menin gate ceremony which was fantastic

I think you were wise not to go up the bell tower (assume you would have vlogged it if you had). I went up a few years ago, the views were amazing, but it made me feel quite unwell getting up there.

Lay's pickle chips are the preferred chip of choice over here. Several bags a day. Also being an American I absolutely love seeing it when you walk around town, in any city or country over there. We're pretty deprived of anything over 100 years old so it's nice to see it all. Makes me love Andy more that he appreciates the architecture.

We did a canal boat tour when we were there and it was fantastic! Max loves the water ❤️💙 perhaps you can persuade Andy to go on one by seeing how many churches he can see whilst going round 😊😊😊

It would be a pretty short vlog! She’s allergic to gluten. Nothing more to it than that.

Question: Does Andy have a lot of various collections?
I am an aspie too and when I was his age, I was collectionning collections... I'l still am, just trying to refrain it a bit me being 44 and having limited space:D
The ad's are getting so annoying on your videos, there are literally 6-8 adverts per video! :o
There’s never anywhere near that many ads... we run an ad every 5 minutes, so on a normal vlog, you’ll get at most 3. Even on these super long ones you’re not getting more than 5.
The Chapman Family they are playing as doubles though so each ad break has 2 ads 🤣. I’ve seen 4 ads so far on this video and I’m up to the point where you were looking for that’s toast. So
I can definitely see how there could be 6-8 ads a video
I got 1 ad on this video and at most I get 2 at the start. No mid-rolls at all. If the first ad is skipable, it skips both ads. For reference I'm watching on an old android.
Lizzie wow that’s weird how people get different amounts. I had 2 lots of doubles and 2 singles on this one when I watched yesterday (I try not to skip the ads though 🤷♀️)

Churches are meant to invoke the presence of god in people... maybe Andy gets a sense of it in churches or they give him a certain holy feeling... he'd LOVE the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona, not religious myself but its not even finished and its truly epic.
