We asked Andy what he wanted to do this weekend, and he surprised us with his answer! Despite asking to go to Nottingham all week, he decided he wanted to go to Cambridge and look at churches, so we headed over and let him control the day - he picked where we walked, where we went and what we did - he even picked our dinner! Of course, because we didn't plan the trip at all, we didn't even consider that most churches are full of people on Sunday mornings. And lots of the buildings in Cambridge look like churches...

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 13) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Awesome day and vlog! With the water it might also be a temperature thing, I only drink stuff that’s really cold, and that water looked pretty cold, so that also might be something to consider if you haven’t already when trying to get him to drink it!

For your next holiday you should go to Belfast in Northern Ireland I have personally been there many a time and I love it! The atmosphere is amazing and there is alot a lot of towers and churches you could take the boat over and stay for a couple of days and also see all over Northern Ireland like, Antrim, Ballymena, glengormly and many more places I think Andy would really like it.
I have cousins living in Ely, Cambridgeshire, so does one of my friends who I met when I was in sixth form and I have her on my Facebook now. It was a shame really that you went on a Sunday so some of those churches, of course, had services in progress, and I'm hoping Andy got his bells fix even we didn't hear any bells on the vlog, sadly. Andy is becoming a man. I can tell his voice is deeper than it has been. I remember when one of my cousins who doesn't live in Cambridgeshire, was 13 when his voice broke. It happened very quickly. I noticed it brake completely in only a matter of a few days. Couldn't have been much longer.
Hi Kev, glad you all had a good time in Cambridge. Next time get the Park & Ride into the centre. Much cheaper. And of course it'll include a bus for Andy. Keep up the great content.

It was so cute the way he was walking and hugging Anna at the same time, he's literally growing up right in front of everyone's eyes, there's a place near where I lived called Chester, and it has a beautiful church/cathedral which Andy might Like to watch a video of there are plenty of videos of the cathedral on here

You should go to Portsmouth. There is a tower called the emirate spinnaker tower where there is a lift which will take you all the way up. There’s also lots of shops which I’m sure the girls will love. And there’s even a Cadbury’s shop. It’s really enjoyable and a great family day out
Oh no the buttons on the first lift andy went in what was a MRL kone ecodisc has had it's nice buttons changed with horrible Dewhurst buttons.

I just watched your vlog from when you where in cambridge just a tip for next time if you use one of the park and ride sites the parking is free you only the buses are cheaper too it's something like £3 return I can't remember how much it is for a family day rider also there is 1 or 2 round churches in cambridge if Andy likes round churches I may have to give you a tour when you next come to cambridge I was at my dad and step mums helping out at their horse show on Sunday. Or I could show just you kev then you will hopefully find your way around a little easier I hope you enjoyed the day from Jamie

They make little water caraffes with a tiny glass that actually sits on top of the caraffe . They are made for sitting beside your bed in case you get thirsty at night. THe small glass acts as a "lid" of the caraffe when you arent drinking out of it. They are on amazon and would be PERFECT for andy!
