I went to see Mad Dogs and Englishmen and it was the first time I heard Joe and it was great.He sang with the most soul from his heart.Always had lots of respect for him.What a beautiful place to live out your retirement.You did good brother.Rest in peace.
I met Joe twice in different decades . I am not saying I knew the man well at all but I never thought he would live in such a house with the impression he left on me . Just beautiful . I do find it sad what happens when your gone though .

They were building a small home across from this property a year before he passed from what I understand. His health was failing and it was just too big. They did a lot with the area local kids and community that were poor and didn't have opportunities. So this home was used to entertain others and their charity gave everything from music lessons to trips to Europe . I have not heard if Pam stayed in the new built home down the road, or went somewhere else.
-'When i went 2-'Visit'-!?- a friend in Colorado in 2019, -- she took me to visit the estate and the small town they lived in!?)//- as I understand it,- Pam went back to California where she was originally from and had children still living there!? - however the cafe that they owned,-- is still in Crawford - and was for sale for the second time since Joe passed when I was there in 2019!!? - he is also buried a few blocks from the cafe!?- and just about anyone in town can tell you where it is-!!!!-)))-// !!--💔💔🤟🤟🤙🤙✌️✌️🫶🫶🖖🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️-!!))-//-((
