Thank you for doing this tribute to Joe Cocker. There will NEVER be another singer to match his driving rock/blues sound or the emotion he put into his ballads. Gone but never forgotten..
I live near where he lived in Sheffield England and was privelidged to play darts with him in our local pub. My grandmother was a friend of his mother Mrs cocker. God rest your soul my friend. The best white soul singer in history. Just great. Best regards from Adrian in Sheffield South Yorkshire England 😀😺
How cool. I've never seen anyone visit his grave before. And what a beautiful headstone. I've never seen one like that before, either. Really enjoyed hearing his life story. Nice job, Bill. Can't wait to which other graves you visited in Colorado.
Man, each video I see of yours, just get better and better. My friend, you are doing a fantastic job. I was also a very big fan of Joe Cocker. I remember when my oldest son was born in 1981 and I dedicated " You Are So Beautiful " by Joe Cocker to him. Thank You So Much For This Beautiful Tribute
Thank you for such a detailed report . The first time I enjoyed listening to Joe Cocker sing was in a church hall in Sheffield. I have been trying to pin down the year. Joe lived near by my friend and he liked her. Unfortunately she wasn't too keen on him . My last memory of him was my friend asking me to hurry as he was calling out to her to say hello!
Loved loved Joe Cocker. Went to see him the first time and unfortunately he couldn’t perform. He was so stoned and/or drunk. He stood at the microphone or should I say he tried to stand. People were yelling come on Joe,you can do it Joe, Delta Lady Joe. But he just couldn’t and he was helped off the stage. I was heartbroken. I waited another 20 years but it was worth the wait He was fantastic and lived up to being the legend that he is. He lives on in his music - which I still play loud and proud. And I’m 75 years old.
I love Joe Cocker and remember hearing his records my brothers played in the basement in that period. He invented air guitar I think but he looked so cool when he did it!
Thanks Bill for another great informative video. I always loved Joe Cocker's music and sound. As you, I enjoyed the Wonder Years as well. Take care of yourself, we need your videos to keep coming. Don't make your viewers have to come body slam you. :-)
A living legend that 8nspired the world with his music and song he was phenomenal of doing..great man that took the stage as his young life and gave to the fans the songs of 5he world in his own solo voice..live on Joe Cocker..your still in the hearts of the fans and friends you made around the world..your not forgotten..RIP

Joe Cocker lived a hard life starting out as a,rock singer and getting on with his life like so many of us have but not all..a busy life kept Joe Cocker struggling in his life ahead...as life progressed..Joe Cocker progressed and went forward..leave your hat on was a hit and so many others that Joe Cocker sang..but written by another.. Joe sang and instantly a hit..Joe Cocker had many struggles bur..got thru it all....Joe Cocker was outstanding in his performances and entertainment..RIP Joe..always in mind and our hearts..you won't be forgotten
In the movie Teachers a song of his was used "on the edge of a dream" and the song When the Night comes was used in a Tom Selleck movie called "An Innocent Man" I saw him in 1990 at the Garden State Arts Center here in NJ. He was on stage with Stevie Ray Vaughan. It was Stevie's last performance as he died in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin not too long after I saw the concert.
Good job, Bill. Entertaining and informative. Can't ask for anything more. Was great hearing you mention your compadre, Chris Colt. There's a guy with an interesting life.
Thank you very much for watching! Yes Chris Colt was an interesting guy! I spent a lot of time with him! I plan on visiting his grave in Oregon, early next year for a video!😀👍
@@BigBillAndersonsDeathTours I look forward to that. Are you friends with Tom Burke? He had some more accurate info on Chris' passing that I believe he got from Robin in the last 6 months.
@@BigBillAndersonsDeathTours I figured it'd be a longshot that you didn't know him, but didn't want to assume anything. I look forward to the video. When you and he went to Tennessee, were you Colt Brothers or DuPree Brothers?
I saw him in CT. FOXWOODS. Shortly before he died. Totally blew my mind. There were other well known artists playing as well but I only remember Joe. Massive Voice.
Hi...your tribute to my rock God ...Joe Cocker ...was beautiful. Thank you Hope we can chat..ive got some interesting information about him .. when touring Australia
Good to say I was on the same night as joe at the birley hotel Sheffield with my group the rubber band. Whilst there he gave me his own copy of singer jimmy Powell .sugar baby. Single. Happy days, ray Drury Sheffield..........rip jimmy may13 2016. Joe dec 22. 2014
I was showing some friends around the Santa Barbara area. We were driving up a mountain road and one friend says "Doesn't Joe Cocker live arround here"? "Yea, and there he is". There was Joe with a screwdiver and golf cart working on the gate to his driveway. We passed, waved (he waved back) and kept going.
Thank you so much for this lovely tribute to the one and only Joe Cocker. l am very proud that he played in my cousin's pub, The Minerva Tavern in Sheffield, one of the many. l love your vlogs, greetings from England, oh, and wear a bloody coat!
A very emotional Singer..with so much power.he could get a dead man moving....saw him twice on Fri night next morning immigration drove him the airport put on a plane,he was treated so shamefully made Oz a disgrace to the world.when you mention the regulars of rock Joe's the greatest rock singer...RIP...Joe..you are so beautiful.
Just ran across him a year ago, "with a little help from my friends" . Singlehanded completely destroyed every song ever written or preform by an artist
His vocal cords must have Been calloused. I love his version of Cry me a River and Darling be home soon. He always put a soulful twist on a song. When he was on Saturday night live he did not know that John Belushi was going to come on stage with him that was all ad-lib. It was hilarious! You can pick it up on CZcams. I think everyone liked Joe! He's sadly missed!
Silly guy. No coat? Lol. I bet you were wishing you were home as you suffered in the cold weather. Greetings from Iowa where we got 4 inches of snow last night and it’s only 26 degrees. I have to say I make a point to watch all your videos, I especially like when you share the memories of your friends, the wrestlers. As a fan of classic wrestling, I enjoy hearing you reminisce about your personal relationships with them. GREAT JOB!!!👍🏻
Thank you so much for watching my videos! Yes, not very smart, not having a coat on my trip! I have a couple more videos from Glenwood Springs, Colorado to upload soon! I was cold in those videos also! LOL👍😀
Such a versatile singer, his songs always make me emotional. Sorry I only got to see him twice live. Who would have known that so soon after the Fire it Up tour he would be dead, still can’t believe it. Shirley.
You got some of it wrong getting busted in Adelaide .the govt ordered his deportation.within a week after two concerts in melb on a Friday night next morning at 6am reported..we treated him so badly it was shameful,.he came back to Oz,only because his was Roger Davies who managed Tina Turner . Roger was an Ozzie...RIP..Joe you are so beautiful.
