Thank you for the follow up. I would have inspected the sam unit under a microscope. Might have some tracks damaged.

Take the SAM out...before it goes damp & spray it with PCB lacquer....+ add silica desiccant bags in the box...also seal the enclosure with silicone gasket....to keep water out....also can you tell me how I can get the software on my phone...like you have on your phone...I need to diagnose + clear faults...thxs

One Question i have a w203 c270cdi year 2001 automatic -my Problem is its only lightining ESP(but when i drive it goes and when standing longer 3-4 hours example in the mornig when i start i comes again) and my Wheel is to hard like without servo i read it with delphi ds150 and i have also SAM front error codes with AC errors "aircondition pressure sensor and like this permanent -but everything work in my car heater windows signal is all ok???Thank you i need your help!

Hello! I've come to the conclusion that my sam module has gone bad. I've lost a lot like your car did. I still have function of my cluster and windows. I also still have my turn signals come on in the cluster. What I've got going on though is a loss of my front blinkers the ones in the trim and in the headlight housing. I've lost windshield wipers. I have low brake fluid light on. My brights indicator stays on even though the lights aren't working. Well I do have the driver side headlight. Also my parking brake light stays illuminated. Even my ats shows a reading of 185 degrees( It's brand new, I just installed it before I parked it). I park my mercs over the winter. Which they sit outside, I assumed water got into the sam unit. Upon inspection I didn't see any corrosion, the board itself does have some very faint water marks on it. There is a few spots with very light discoloration. Nothing like you've shown in your video though.
Hi, you can try cleaning it up and putting it back in. Sometimes, it works.
@thefix9823 Thank you for the reply! After looking at the board for a good 45 minutes I did find a burn mark. I don't know how I didn't see it prior. It is pretty sizeable, I'd say. That's definitely my issue, thank you again!

if the front sam has the same reference, the same Hw /Sw ; Would you need some kind of programming for the car? Or would it just replace the new one with the old one,

Hi, it should just work without any programming.

I have changed the front sam for another with the same references and the same hw and sw, it works fine but the reverse lights come on when I start the car.
I would like to know if you have ever had this problem. it's a mercedes 203 from 2004.

How much you paid for the used SAM unit?. The cover for SAM module is a bit filmsy. Plus your car looks likeit is always parked outside. Great if there is a way to improve the original top cover. Regards.

My w203 has these issues. When i turn on the engine, the coolant fan comes on violently , the ac controls stop working, the windows dont work, dash lights are off. All these things work when the engine is off. From the video i might need a sam replacement.
What if my car wont start? technician told me it was my front sam.

I have a 2005 c230 kompressor and the left front turn signal stays on. is that a signal relay problem?
Hi, it might have the relays built-in to the sam unit one for left and one for right if it was a single relay somewhere both the turn signals would have the same problem,but to find out for sure you need to look at a wiring diagram to see how the system works.
I have same problem. I have a 2005 c230 and my right turn signal bulb stays on all time.

Where did you find a replacement sam2? I have a 06 R500 with a bad Sam 2, scanned the QR code and nothing found on internet. QR is 146160053180121 but the number on the motherboard etched is 28013293. Please help if you can.
