And this guy explains the sequences better than almost all MB mechanics that I talked too. @EcubootVietnam, you want to improve your pronunciation a bit more; but your technical skills are always outstanding! And don’t forget, this could be a simple case of “no crank, no start”; the maybe other that are more complex?

I have this exact same problem but it only happens occasionally. The engine will also occasionally stall whilst idling which is very rare for any diesel engine in my experience. Otherwise the thing runs fine. Is my problem more likely to be an ignition fault? (It's been scanned twice but no fault codes were apparent)
I wish I saw this six months ago, I had to really dig into terminal 15 and circuit 50. one thing I will never understand is how come engine will crank with ecu removed? if ecu completes 85 and 86 on starter relay. I really need to understand this rational,
Very good explanation on how to check the starting problem, my car 2010 E250cdi has similar issues, key turns, click sound and no engine start, sometimes fires at the first key turn, sometimes 10 turns of the key to start the engine. Thank you, I will check the relay
I watched you video and I was very impressed maybe you can help me I have a 2009 C300 4matic that does not crank. The key is working properly My dashboard is functioning properly but it will not crank I checked the starter relay and it does click I even change the relay. The steering wheel lock is functioning properly. The car with scanned the health report stated low brake fluid in front sam module and rear brake lights ground in rear sam module but I do not think that either would cause the vehicle not to crank. Would you have any idea of any possible causes. Thank you and continue with your great tutorials.
Unfortunately for W204 owner like you and I and too many other: the issue with EIS/ECM is well known issue. In this scenario, he was demoing a simple problem with the relay. Other cases, you’d have to disable the security system (a $150 fix) but could save its owner thousands…
I have a 2013 Mercedes e550 coupe it has power but won’t start, no dash lights come on when turning the key , radio doesn’t come on , and only the odometer and and don’t forget key shows, Any help please ?
Hello everyone, i have mercedes w204 2011, 1.8cdi. The problem is when i turn my key in ignition lock, all lamps go on but IT will not start, i changed 2 ignition locks and the same problem. The car will start only when its cold outside, when the car is outside on the sun and when its Hot it will not start. Has somebody the same problem or has any ideal what can it be???

What if circuit 30 on relay plug is dead? Does that mean the SAM is bad

You have problem with ESL
you took the long way , at first you can check the terminal line and the signal 50 at the starter directly and you will save much time
and also must check the starter because the overload occurs damage the starter relay
