really good skating, seemingly smart with the puck, shot doesn't look too bad either. Could scan a lot more and probably doesn't have to try some of the move he tries but at this point it's inconsequential. He REALLY needs to scan more tho, that'll make his ceiling explode. Idk what's his defence like but i'd assume he's average in that department.

@@addisonrae8672 yeah, he's also a kid, meaning there's a LOOOOT for him To improve on to have a chance to maybe play in the bigs. First overall picks can be busts, the same goes for this kid. Being ranked 3rd overall for 07 kids doesn't mean he's set for the future, it means that compared to other kids who have a lot of holes in their games, he shines.

How good is he? I saw him score at will 2 years ago. Was really floored. His edges are uncommon

Not even close to Bedard. Let’s put it that way. His edges are uncommon? What? Lol. Go to any small town rink in Canada and you’ll find quite a few guys with edges like that.

Btw…Makar would’ve never been overlooked. I watched him play when he was 15yo and everyone around Alberta knew he was going to be a phenom. He was already putting up ppg seasons as a defensemen in the AJHL…Nice try bud…I guess that’s the difference between Canadian and American hockey.
Bedards still only 17…let that sink in. These guys aren’t even that big of an age gap.
