This was very informative. I'm over here going crazy researching trying to figure out how many ccs I'll need. I already have a fairly big booty but I wanted more fullness, hips, a flat tummy, and no hip dips.
Video suggestion: Kindly talk about Projection post BBL. Specficially when patients makes the decision to work out and focus on the glutes. I have seen pics ( activated glutes) and its too much projection for my taste. What should people know ..... if the want a BBL but also plan to strengthen the butt, legs and thights as part of an active gym regimen.

Does the softness of the tissue have to do with age or just genetics?
So many factors it's hard to list them all but both age and genetics are involved.
Post hernia mesh repair also can undergo this surgery
If the mesh is inside your abdomen (underlay) then it is fine but if your mesh is above the abdominal wall then I would not have it.
By removing the fat doesn't the butt project itself
Could I ask how long the fat transfer stay?
It stays your whole life as long as you take the aftercare, food intake and exercise seriously. Some of the transferred fat will get re-absorbed (disappear) but you still will be able to see the improved results.
my issue is that all my fat instead of going to my flank or butt went to my thighs and I haven’t seen a bbl where they take the fat mostly from the thighs
We usually don't perform liposuction of the thighs as the results are not very good. The thigh can be thinner when fat is removed from the thighs with liposuction, but the thigh then tends to look very lumpy.

Sorry. We refer to any tissue that is not bone or muscle (hard tissue) as soft tissue.

Massages will help with the dents too. Don't beat yourself up about it, just take the necessary steps to fix them. Cheer up!
I think you mean you got a dent in your buttock? There could be a reason why the fat died in that area. Or, it could have been done from other issues.
What do he mean when he said projection?
Projection is how we describe how the butt sticks out from the back. The more projection, the greater the butt protrudes from the back.

Soon everyone will look the same there's more to life than looks. Just saying... Hope you ladies remember that God made us all unique, yes there times I look at myself like ugh I should change this but why?? To make others happy. Woman can say they doing it only for themselves but in reality it's what society making you think you should look like.

I loved his work but he refused transgender patients of any kind.
Plastic surgery has changed so much over the years, even over my 25 years since graduating medical school-a whole generation, and they say medical knowledge doubles every seven years! Now there is a whole specialty of plastic surgeons whose sole focus, and area of expertise is focused on transgender patients. They have had extra training, fellowships, that didn’t even exist when I was a student, and understand all of the nuances of transgender surgery and have a lot of experience in transgender surgery. Unfortunately I don’t have any of this training, or experience, and I don’t feel comfortable operating on patients when I don’t feel as if I am completely capable to give them the best that they need and deserve so I always suggest seeing an expert plastic surgeon in transgender patients.
