  • UFC Lightweight Matt "Steamrolla" Frevola discusses the importance of various recovery methods during his training camps. This interview was held leading up to his fight at UFC Fight Night 161 in Tampa, Florida on October 12, 2019. Matt talks about the importance of cryotherapy, ice baths, hot yoga, acupuncture, CBD and massages to help his body recovery from the grueling MMA training. After this interview, Matt would go on to win a split decision over Luis Peña at UFC Tampa.
    In addition to being a UFC fighter, Matt Frevola is a Captain in the United States Army Reserves. He earned his spot on the UFC roster with a second round arm triangle submission over Jose Flores on episode eight of season two of Dana White's Contender Series. Frevola took part in tone of the most memorable fights of 2018 - a three-round war with fellow lightweight, "Groovy" Lando Vannata.
