Very nice video Mark cracking images. Great location could not see much difference in the images one with grad and one without, both very nice. thank you for sharing. Enjoy your stay in Cornwall.
Thanks John, appreciate that. Yes, such a lovely spot down there! Hopefully back soon🤞🏻
Great picture's thank you so much for sharing I definitely enjoyed your video and love your pictures you're a very good photographer you know what you're doing you take some great shots thank u
Thanks for watching the video John and the kind words. Really nice place is the Cornish coast, somewhere I must get back to soon!
Enjoyed this vlog and seeing those images. Nice work Mark
Thanks Andrew👍🏻 So nice down on the Cornish Coast. Must get back soon!
@@MarkKerton Yep it sure is. I'm heading down next week and looking forward to shooting some new images on the coast
great area to explore
Such a lovely place all along that coast Charles. Thanks for watching👍🏻
I don’t always comment but watch your videos religiously. Love your enthusiasm and presentation on each and every one of them. It’s a pity you don’t live up north as you would ‘go to town’ in the Lake District. At least you got your lens sorted and look forward to your next venture.
Thanks David, REALLY appreciate your support on the channel, means a lot👍🏻 Oh the LAKES! I am desperate to get up there but I’ll need two weeks, haha! Thanks David
Great video. I live near here and have photographed the area many times. That band of cloud is a permement fixture on this coast. Proper sunsets are a rarity.
Thanks, appreciate that. Love going down there. Mother in law has a little place in Tregeseal which is handy. Hopefully back down soon for some winter scenes. Thanks for watching👍🏻
wonderfull congrats
Thanks Tatan, appreciate you watching
Again a joyfull vid many thanks.
Thanks Ruud, appreciate you watching👌🏻
Touch of a photographic Jean Jacques Roseau walk
Thanks Al
I’m sat Botallack now. Just waiting for last hour before sunrise.
Suck a sick spot hey!
Love it there. Hope you had a good shoot👍🏻
You can't go wrong in Cornwall for land/seascapes. Sorry to hear about the 17-40. I have the 16-35 and it's a great leans for landscapes and sports. Talking about sports and football , any chance of getting back to it? Keep up the good work Mark!!
Thanks👍🏻 Lens gone off to Fixation for repair so all sorted hopefully! Getting the 16-35 shooting in the next few days all being well. No sign of any sport just yet! Still very tight on numbers in stadiums! Thanks for watching
Great video mark, this was one of my favourite locations from last year shooting landscapes.
I love how you were able to keep smiling even though you broke your lens
and make the most with the 70-200, your a true trooper
Great stuff
Ah thanks, appreciate that. It sure is a lovely area down there, back soon hopefully! I actually forgot I have a 28-105 in my cabinet, totally forgot about it! Realised on the way home! Never mind, armed with the 16-35 now so can’t wait to get that shooting! Thanks for watching👍🏻
Hello Mark. I winced at the lens. Many commiserations. Don't know where I would be without my ND Grads. Always using them to even out the exposure so much prefer the second shot
Hi Ben. Yes, the air was a tad blue when my tripod went over! It’s gone off to Fixation now so see what they can do with it. The 16-35 has arrived now so looking forward to shooting with it. Thanks for watching Ben👍🏻
Oh the lens snapping - brings back a memory from last year! Great shots and great video. I prefer the photo without the grad filter by the way.
Thanks Pete. Yes, the air was blue! 16-35 in the bag now though so kind of a blessing in disguise! I like using the grad on scenes like on the tin mine mist. Thanks for letting me know your preference🤣
Wonderful vlog Mark..looks a great location..For me the without grad just edges it, I think the sky just and light just look very slightly better..Look forward to seeing the 16-35..its a great lens..
Thanks Martin. A tricky one with the mist rolling in and out! Yes, looking forward to using the 16-35. A forest trip next perhaps👍🏻
Great video Mark, I prefer the one without the ND grad 👍
Thanks Stephen. Still not sure I’m happy with that composition and should’ve made my way closer to the mines. I’ll be back soon hopefully anyway. Thanks for watching Stephen
Not the best of conditions Mark but you still got a few nice frames, nice music too :-)
Thanks Richie. Glad you liked the music. It’s something I enjoy choosing for each video. Thought it sounded a bit Gaelic with a Cornish type twist! Defo a bit claggy down there, pretty typical most of the time I guess. Thanks Richie👍🏻
Great stuff Mark, did you find any old Ginster pasty wrappers in the tin mine? :)
Thanks Simon. I ate a few pasties🤣
@@MarkKerton NEVER! :)
Epic location, however there so many different takes at Bottalack and that’s it’s becoming harder to find those unique shoots of the Crowns. Great looking images but nothing new compositional that hasn’t been done before.
Yes, very difficult there to find an original composition down there to what I’ve seen online for sure, with the stills camera anyway! Shame I couldn’t fly the drone, as I had a few comps in mind but not to worry, next time maybe!
Mark Kerton every time I take my drone down it’s blowing a Hooley too. Looking forward to seeing your next results.
Hi there. I’ve since found out drones can’t be flown there! Too close to the airport I was told?! It simply won’t let you take off! A friend tried a few weeks back and he received a warning on the controller!
Sorry about the lens Mark.
Thanks Yasser. All sorted now👍🏻
Hope the lens is covered by insurance Mark! Which 16-35 did you order?
Luckily all insured Nick yes. 16-35 f4. Thanks for watching Nick
Excuse me for asking a question that may have already been answered but why are you using two ballhead?
Hi there. I have just watched it back as I wasn’t sure what you meant? I think you are talking about the scene when I am nearest the tin mines at around eight minutes 40. You are right, it does look like two ball heads but it is only one. The tripod head is quite a funny shape and from a distance it does look like a ball head, I must agree. Thanks for watching👍🏻
Sorry about the lens and was the camera equipment insured?
Thanks Al. All insured luckily!
@@MarkKerton always better be prepared
Oh yes!
@@MarkKerton brilliant
Without the filter for me
Yes, I’m actually swaying towards that frame too Richie👍🏻
